The plane started to descend and Sapnap opened his eyes, stretched and checked the time on his phone. Right on time! He grinned and settled down again and waited for the wheels to hit the ground running and bring him to his destination. The thump of the plane hitting the ground was unnerving but Sapnap was ecstatic, ready to meet his childhood best friend in real life for the first time

He grabbed his bag and jostled past crowds of people, speedrunning through airport security and texting Dream that he had landed, the reply was almost instant

Sapnap smiled and headed out to the parking lot, spotting a tall, dirty blonde figure waiting beside a dark blue pickup truck "Dude this isn't black" he snorted as he arrived "Hello to you to, Sappitus"

They got in the vehicle and Dream started it up, driving down the asphalt roads with a grin and Sapnap connected his phone to the radio, playing a random song that popped up "You have horrible taste in music" Dream joked "You wish you had the swag I had" Sapnap retorted

He pulled into a driveway and Dream stopped the truck, they got out and grabbed Sapnaps bag(s) before unlocking the front door and opening it dramatically. "Welcome to my mtv crib" "Lovely" Sapnap pushed past him "It's pretty big, I like it!"

Dream smiled "Glad you like it, buddy, now put your bags away in your room, it's the one on the far left, the one on the far right is my room and the other ones are my recording room & the bathroom"

Sapnap dropped his bags off in his room and ran back down the stairs, launching himself into Dream's arms "It's good to finally be able to hug you, virtual hugs just make you more touch starved" Sapnap stated "Yeah, wanna watch some movies? I've got something to show you tomorrow morning" Sapnap nodded eagerly "LET'S WATCH HORROR MOVIES!!" they sat on the couch about 1ft apart

Dream shut all the curtains and opened netflix before choosing a random movie in the horror genre

Halfway through the first movie and Sapnap had screamed multiple times, he was now snuggled right up to his best friend and clutching his arm like it was a knife he could use to defend himself "Just remember that this is your fault" Dream said as he took another handful of popcorn, Sapnap just groaned and took ahold of Dream's hand "Just wake up If i start screaming in the middle of the night, I would like to live until tomorrow" Dream nodded and turned his attention back to the movie

Sapnap had fallen asleep 4-5 hours later, tired from jet lag and adjusting to the Florida weather so Dream scooped him up bridal style and placed him down on his bed, yanking the hoodie off and tucking a thin blanket over him "Sleep tight" Dream whispered and kissed him on the forehead, soft and light so he didn't wake the sleeping boy

Dream wrote a note and left it on the counter just in case, grabbed a hat and his keys before locking the front door behind him, driving out to the airport and settling down in his car to wait for Georges plane to land
