Rivet was back home and was landing her ship in here parking lot. But as she looks over, her face immediately turns from confused to ticked.
Rivet: T_T You got to be kidding me!
She had noticed a couple of robotic raccoons digging into the garage on the side of the house. Rivet angrily honks the horn twice, failing. She then got out and begins shooing them away!
Rivet: Hey! Shoo! Get out of here you stupid scrappin' little trash pandas!
As the scrapcoons retreat into the woods, Rivet rolls her eyes in annoyance before walking back to her shed and grabbing her stuff. She looks around and sees Ratchet's ship was there as well, meaning he came home early as well.
The albino lombax walks into the house, only to be greeted by their robotic dog, Axl.
Rivet: Hey Axl! How's it going baby?
Axl: 🐶 0w0
???: well look who's back early!
Rivet looks over to see a green eyed, golden furred lombax standing at the doorway with a smile on his face. Riv just smirked.
Rivet: Look who's talking.
Ratchet: *blushes slightly* hehehehe...
She had also noticed that he had something hide behind his back as well, Causing her to look at him with a cocked eyebrow.
Rivet: Ratchet? What is the thing that you're hiding behind your back?
Ratchet then reveals the thing hiding behind his back: an white envelope addressed from the Megalopolis Police Department.
Rivet: is that why I think it is?
Ratchet: Well...You'll have to open it to find out. *Gives her the envelope*
Rivet: It's very small.....Is it bad?
Ratchet: Just open it.
As Rivet begins opening the envelope, their two robot friends, Clank and Kit, watching from the hallway.
Kit: looks like that mail must be very important.
Clank: Indeed.
Rivet: *opens the letter* Dear Rivet, we had reviewed your application for the Megalopolis Police Department and pending on inter-departmental review and background check. We are happy to inform you that you have been selected to join our team! *In a squealy voice* OMG!!!!
Ratchet: YEAH!!!! *Hugs her* WAY TO GO RIVET!!!!
Kit: Congratulations Rivet! 😊
Clank: Indeed! We are very proud of you!
Rivet: Thanks guys.
Clank: But I got to say Megalopolis is a big jump for you.
Rivet: hey! I took big jumps before.
Clank: I don't mean literally Rivet.
Rivet: Like I don't mean literally! Remember the time when I caught the old captain with his treacherous plan to murder the chief so he can be chief himself? And when he was fired, Chief Bergen fell into a depression and I had to film in his role for a few days? So you see? I took big jumps before!
Clank: But-
Ratchet: Well, I think you got this. Clank's just a bit...*looks at Clank* overprotective....heh😏
