I honestly don't understand how people think that Pre-game shuichi is a yandere, and obsessed with Kokichi, Pre-game Shuichi didn't even know Pre-game Kokichi.

Shuichi woke up in a room a way different room from his very own, he was also wearing different clothes, from the pajamas.
He also smelled like shit, like he didn't shower. So Shuichi got up and striped, then he realized all his Danganrompa things, we're gone.
Not like he spent almost 10,000,000,00 Yen(87,000 US dollars or for people who uses pounds it's 64,504.84 Pounds) and on it all
But he went to where the shower was, and took him a nice long shower, after the shower he was drying his hair.
He opened one of the drawers, and it was, empty? He opened a different one and it was full of many different color, things.
Shuichi knew that was his cosplay things, and his props for female cosplay and ext. So he opened a different drawer and there was wigs.
He opened up the last drawer, so far all the others is his cosplay things. As much as he wanted to cosplay he didn't
In the last drawer it said 'Hello! Shuichi you are the ultimate cosplayer, but there is already one so you will cosplay As Nagito Komaeda for the rest of your time here

Shuichi was I'm shock, he was I'm Danganrompa he always dreamed of this day, now that it actually came true he quickly got his cosplay things ready

{2 Hours later}
After 2 hours Shuichi was done with his Makeup, touching up his wig and making his outfit perfect
He finally put on his clothes and fixed them up, no so proud of the zip up shoes but hey Nagito is a himbo-/j
Shuichi was tired, but then a black and white Bear showed up in his room.
"Hello Shuichi! Or should I say Nagito, you will plan your own fake death in this killing game and target anyone you want!"
Shuichi already knew what he wanted to do for his fake death. So he told Monokuma the plan
Soon the 6am alarm went off, Shuichi could hear everyone getting ready
{30 Minutes later}
Shuichi was standing right outside the dining room door, as he opened the door everyone stared at him. "Ah, Hello! I'm Nagito Komaeda, I just got added to this killing game since the other guy is gone" Shuichi said using his best Nagito voice that's a little tiny bit too high for Nagito but it will work
Kaito was the first to start screaming "What do you mean Other guy!?! Do you mean sidekick? What did you do to him"
Shuichi spoke up again "Oh, Sidekick? Weird name for the boy in blue hair"
Luckily Shuichi was a really good actor, it was moments later when Kaito Started to run over to Shuichi but Gonta stopped him
"Gonta Thinks that Mr. Komaeda did not hurt Shuichi, Gonta thinks Monokuma is behind this!"
Just like That Monokuma showed in front of them all "Hey! Put on finger on Nagito and were going to have a problem. I went through lots of work to just get him here!"
"And what Nagito said is right, Shuichi is dead! Gone forever." Monokuma laughed
All was quiet, then Kokichi spoke up in a happy joking tune "Yeah, good joke Monokuma. Where's Shu-Chan?"
Shuichi spoke up "Are you dumb? He's gone! I saw his death. A sad one indeed. He was getting stabbed and was crying for help."
Kokichi's joyful face soon turned sad and disgusted
"Monokuma.Why?" It came from Maki, she was crying. Making never cried, it. Wasn't in her cold nature
Shuichi soon spoke up "I'm sorry for you guys lost, I truly am. I only had 10 minutes to meet him. He seemed like he was ready for this punishment."
Monokuma spoke up "But since Shuichi died, We will bring everyone else to died back to life! Tomorrow, but your still in a killing game"
Shuichi simply smiled as He was now Nagito Komaeda. And he had to accept that.
