"I GOT THE GOLD THINK IM GONNA WIN, I race in the morning damn, get to moving." The rapper Daye Jack rapped on the radio as they pulled up to this neighborhood named "Freeridge". To be honest Raven Floyd didn't want to move at all━━ I mean who would want to? You have to say bye bye to all your friends, then have to make NEW FRIENDS  which Raven is highly terrible at. Then you have to go to a new school, and be at a new house, a new neighborhood and all that other BS. But I guess it's time for a 'change'. Just like her parents always reminded her.

❝ WE ARE HERE!❞ her mother Jess exclaimed squealed interrupting Raven's  unnecessary thoughts. She pulled up in front of one story home that a had little steps going up to the doorway then all these plants surrounding it, giving it a grandma's house look.

━━"wow," Raven exclaimed sarcastically waving her hands in the air "excitedly". Her mom looked back at her with a sympathetic look and put her hand on Raven's cheekbone, "aw honey I know, this isn't what you exactly was expecting but this is all we could afford right now. And it's time for a change anyway." Her voice softer then it was.

"I get it. It's just that. I miss Brentwood, and heard a lot of bad reviews about this place, like it's multiple gangs and things ." Raven mumbled putting her hand under her chin and taking in the appearance of the new home.

"I'm sure the rumors aren't true hun." her mom replied, "now. Let's see the house." she finished excitedly getting out of the car. Just as Raven was about to say something cut her off. She looked to her right and saw her moms phone ringing.

She groaned and rolled her eyes and opening the car door getting out of the car. Turning around and sighing she just looks around the neighborhood just going to have to deal with living here for now.

━As she walked towards the trunk she heard fast footsteps behind her sounding like they were walking past, she snapped her head towards the direction, but noticed a short boy that looked around 5'1. he had brown curly hair that was a little messy, brown eyes that looked hazel in the sun and tan sun-kissed skin. He was wearing a light blue shirt with a collar and brown pants. There eyes met for a split second but his eyes widen as he looked at her .

Her mouth opened to greet him but before she could say anything he averted his eyes forward and sped-walked past acting like he didn't notice her.

"Alright, then..." raven said trailing off clasping her hands together and  turning on her heel and going to get her bags.

Once she was done getting her bags she walked towards her house going up the porch stairs and inside the front door looking around she nodding a bit. The house wasn't terrible it was just. Basic.

Raven went looking through the hallways and going inside a random room which she guessed was hers since it was little small. It had plain beige walls and wooded floors and a window that had white see-through curtains. 'Welp this will be fun.' she thought unpacking her bags.
