Charity's POV

Jaamarie stood before me, radiant and commanding, her staff glowing with celestial energy. I felt a strange mix of awe and unease.

"Charity," she said gently, "the battle ahead will be unlike anything you've faced. Jennelle is powerful—too powerful for you to face alone in your current state."

"What are you saying?" I asked, my voice trembling.

"I must possess you," she said. "Only temporarily. With my strength and your body, we can defeat her together. You'll still be aware, still present. But I'll guide your power."

I hesitated. "Will it hurt?"

"No," she said, placing a hand on my shoulder. "You'll feel stronger than ever. Trust me."

"Okay," I whispered. "Do it."

Jaamarie's eyes glowed red—not gold, not white, but red. I should've known then.

She stepped forward, and in a flash of light, I felt her enter me. My body stiffened, my mind blurred, and then everything went dark.

The air was thick with sulfur and silence as Jaamarie, Remus, and Reagan stepped through the crumbling archway of Jennelle's lair. The once-holy cathedral now pulsed with corrupted energy—its stained glass windows shattered, its altar replaced by a throne of bones and obsidian.

Reagan clutched her solar staff tightly. "This place feels wrong."

Remus nodded, his eyes scanning the shadows. "It's a trap."

Jaamarie, however, walked forward with purpose, her crimson cloak trailing behind her like spilled blood. "No. It's a reunion."

From the shadows, Jennelle emerged, her blackened wings unfurling with a hiss. Her eyes gleamed with delight.

"Well, well," she purred. "The prodigal guardian returns."

Reagan's eyes widened. "You know her?"

Jennelle laughed. "Know her? She was my sister in rebellion. My right hand. My blade in the dark."

Remus stepped forward, his voice sharp. "You said you were here to protect Charity. That you were her guardian."

Jaamarie turned to them slowly, her expression cold and regal. "I never lied. I was assigned to her. But I chose my own path long ago."

"You used her," Reagan whispered, betrayed.

"I empowered her," Jaamarie corrected. "And now, with her soul awakened, the final seal is broken. I am free."

Jennelle clapped her hands. "Bravo, Jaamarie. You played your part beautifully."

Reagan raised her staff. "We won't let you hurt her."

Jaamarie's eyes flared red. "You think you can stop me? I created you. You are fragments of my will—sun and moon, light and shadow. But I am the storm."

Remus summoned his blade. "Then we'll be the ones to end it."

Jennelle stepped between them, smirking. "Let them try. It'll be fun to watch them break."

Remus' POV

I didn't hesitate. I summoned my blade of lunar steel and lunged. Reagan followed, her solar staff glowing with radiant fire. Together, we fought the entity possessing Charity, trying not to hurt her but desperate to drive it out. However, Jennelle stopped us in our tracks. We needed backup.

Dean's POV

I was in a deep sleep when a sharp pressure hit the back of my head. I jumped out of bed, knocking over the lamp.
