It's the moment that I have replayed in my head thousands of times.I make the shot and we win the game. I make the game winner and everything this whole team has worked for does not go to waste.We would no longer be the underdogs, we would be the new state champions.
All the ball had to do was go in the net. They got me out here playing with a one hundred and two degree temperature.
I'm telling you if the shot doesn't go in I'm going to cry like real talk.This is my senior year we gotta win man.
"Oubre from the three ......AND SHE MAKES IT sierra canyon girls basketball is now the crowned california state champions"the announcer exclaimed
Jaaliyah ran towards me tackling me to the ground and the whole team followed suit .
When I tell you I feel like I'm finna pass out
my hair sat on the top of my head in puff with a black head band on.I had a navy blue leg sleeve on my right leg cause the jersey was navy blue.
"WHO YA WITH"coach chanted with her hand over her mouth
"SC"we all chanted back with the same energy
"y'all did it"she smiles signaling a group hug -------- "how does it feel to know you now have coached a championship team "the reporter asked
"well there's not really a feeling I'm just extremely proud and honored that I have had the opportunity to coach a team of amazing hard working girls and this is what I've been preparing them for and it payed off "she explained smile
