Chapter 2- The storm

When I got home the police officer went downstairs to talk with my mother. I just sat on my bed with my mobile phone trying to find ways of releasing my quirk. I really wanted All Might's quirk but nobody knew what it was unfortunately. It had been shown on the news many times as people tried to guess the quirk. It all worked the same, someone would say they guessed the quirk then All Might would save more people using something completely contradictory (opposite). Deku and I loved All Might, he was our idol and the most amazing hero the world had ever seen.

One day me and Deku want to be just like All Might.

I fell on to my cold bed and began to think about all the possible quirks I might have one day. I could have a quirk like Endeavour's Hellflame or All Might's or Bakougo. Just then a bolt of lightning struck a tree near my house, it burst into flames as if it were covered in gasoline. The fire didn't bother me as it was many houses down my street. Then the rain and the thunder started almost immediately afterwards. The rain felt like music to my ears.

The lighting gave me a sense of determination. I felt different. Just then my arm started to glow. It hurt so badly, like a million volts of electricity were running through my hand. I screamed. My Mother rushed upstairs and started to hurriedly call an ambulance.

"Mum, it hurts," I cried helplessly.
"It will be ok sweetie the ambulance is on its way." My mum said trying her best to comfort me. It started throbbing now which hurt even more than the original pain. The pain started to run up into my other arm as the ambulance arrived. Nobody spoke. Everyone was focused on taking me to get help.

In the ambulance it spread to both arms and hands. There was pain through all of it. The heart rate monitor and some loud voices was all I coupled hear. I started to concentrate on the beeps. BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP.
1000 bpm. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Even athletes after Olympic races heart rate only gets to around 180-200 bpm.

My heart was beating so fast I was starting to feel it pound on my chest. Pain surged through my whole body.

I entered the hospital. My entire body was glowing yellow and pulsating with waves of pain. The specialists started to hook me up to machined to stop the pain temporarily. It worked I couldn't feel the pain. I could still see myself glowing but it didn't hurt anymore.

The doctor spoke to me and my parents.
"His quirk is manifesting at an alarming rate. We believe his quirk is an electric quirk of some sort, possibly divine thunder or lightning flash,"
I started to slowly stop glowing until I looked normal and my heart rate was at 110 bpm. I started to feel very minor throbbing again because the anaesthetics had worn off. I was taken out and back into the car along with my Mother and Father.

"That's amazing isn't it?" Said my dad smiling.

"What is?" Replied my mum.

"Our son, Yuki Uzumaki is going to have an electrical based emitter quirk." Said my dad enthusiastically.

"Yes it is incredible, I'm so proud of him."

I was still in shock after what had just happened. My quirk had never showed any signs of anything really but now it randomly blew up on my body. I would have to tell Midorya about this. He would be so surprised to know all the quirks I could have, lightning flash, lightning generate or even divine thunder. I was buzzing with excitement.

Divine Thunder (天雷, Tenkaminari) is a Quirk that allows the user to generate and control lightning at will and is reputed as the most powerful electric-type Quirk.

The Lightning Generate Quirk is considered well-rounded, as it could be used in an offensive or defensive. The most basic use of this Quirk involving emit lightning it out of his body. ... He can increase he speed and power with his lightning he generates in his body but he can't move as fast as true lightning.

The Lightning Flash quirk is a quirk that allows the user to transform into lighting and travel as a bolt of lighting. When the user transforms into lighting their protons and neutrons follow along as a stream. As the user travels they pick up excess electrons.

I checked the time. It was 23:07. I was really tired and needed sleep. I shut my eyes. I sprang back up. I had to design a cool hero costume!

I started scribbling a detailed drawing of a hero suit. It would have 2 lightning bolts as a mask that went diagonally and that joined by the end points of them. I would wear a yellow gas mask over my mouth for situations such as if someone with a toxic gas quirk of some sort came. I put a big yellow zip-up, fabric jacket as the shirt and some yellow lightning bolt track suit bottoms. On my hands I drew gloves that would have a mechanism inside to enhance my power when ejecting the attack. I planned to make the entire suit some form of lightning-proof fabric.

Sorry for the short chapter, the main point of this chapter was to document how he started gaining his Quirk. If I missed out on anything important in regards to the suit please tell me.
