"Mending a broken heart"

Once I got home I had no energy to do anything, it's like the happiness has been sucked out of me, my friends have been sending me letters but i don't send anything back. I've been crying for days, I'm surprised that I haven't ran out of tears yet, well after all I held it in for years.

No Ones pov

"Klaus, your daughter has been trapped in her room for a whole week while you've been hunting down your hybrids. Go in and do some damage control or I swear I'll stake you in the heart again and maybe this time I won't pull it out."

"You know I don't do well with giving people sympathy."

"But you are her father."

"Why is she crying about this anyways? She didn't cry about Camille's death or anything else. Why cry over a stupid boy who I warned her about."

"For gods sake niklaus! Can't you hear yourself? You've been trying to hunt down your hybrids again and trying to make new ones but you haven't been there for your own daughter. She's a teenage girl, what do you expect?"

Klaus gives her death stare and looks at Rebekah as if she just took one of his meals.

"I know what your going to say but don't your dare say it! She is still Karina and that's all that matters."

"I Can hear you guys!" Karina says.

"I'm going in."

Klaus goes in and one minute later he's coming out while fire balls are being thrown at him.

"And stay out!" Karina says with anger in her voice.

"I'll talk to her later but now I'll have to do a few things, I'll send in dear old Marcus."

"Marcus?"

Marcus begins to walk up the stairs of the big mansion and sees klaus. Marcus is one of klaus's hybrids, but is still sired to him.

"Yes?"

"Your gonna be of use to me, I want you to spend time with Karina. Make her feel better but...."

He grabs Marcus by the collar and the veins under his eyes start to appear slightly scaring Marcus.

"You better not make a move on her, I have a few punishments in mind. Don't let me down little wolf."

Klaus speeds away and Marcus takes a deep breath and Rebekah looks at him with serious face.

"I know your still sired to Klaus but don't let him treat you like a fucking dog."

"I can't exactly help it, I don't need him to tell me to make Karina feel better. I was originally going to do that in the first place."

"Ahh so you fancy her now? Good to know."

She leaves and Marcus heads to Karina's room.
He knocks on the door and gets no response.

"Karina! Can i come in?"

"Go away! No boys!"

"I'm coming in."

He opens the door and gets hit by a stuffed animal.

"What was that for?"

"For going into my room without my permission, what do you want?"

"Cmon karina get up, you laying down here drowning your sorrows in blood isn't going to help you."

"What do you know about love Marcus?"

"You'd be pretty surprised by what I know, once I had feelings for this girl but I had to move away because I was sired to your father. I regretted not telling her this whole time so these past years I've stayed quiet, but it's hard now."

"Who's the unlucky girl?"

"Ha ha ha very funny." He says sarcastically.

"No seriously who is she?"

"She's a lot closer than you think but I'll let you figure out yourself."

I lay in my bed staring at the ceiling until Marcus sits down on it. Soon I get up and sit next to him.

"Are you really gonna let that dick head get to you?"

"I don't know."

I grab my pillow and put it on my face. I scream my lungs out and I soon calm down.

"Let me remind you who the hell you are, your a mikaelson witch, with a vampire mother and a original father, you are their worst fear."

"Your fucking crazy, you say it as if it's the best thing in the world, as if I'm lucky. No, I'm cursed, being a mikaelson brings you pain. I rather be a boring old human."

"You don't mean that-"

"Yes i do, i know my father sent you to try to get me out of my room. I'm not stupid, just do me a favor and give up."

"No! Your gonna get your ass out of bed whether you like it or not."

"So demanding, aren't you?"

"Nope I'm gonna make that one awkward."

"Whatever, don't ever let the door hit you in the ass on the way out."

He walks toward me with an irritated expression on his face and pulls me into his arms with our faces only centimeters away.

"So you like to play dirty? I'll keep that in mind, I knew you had some sensual destruction in you Marcus. So tell me about this girl, is she pretty?"

I remove a piece of hair from his face and I feel his cold hands on my back.

"Very."

"Is she a sociopath or psychopath? You do seem to love those."

"Both."

"Definitely not, it almost sounds like your jealous Karina. Well are you?"

"Nope."

I hear a knock on my door and I open it to see Lizzie and Josie.

"You guys sure do be showing up at the worst times."

"wait is that Marcus?"

I open the door and Marcus waves. I roll my eyes and was about to close the door until Lizzie stops me.

"Wow you got hot, Well if your single we could-"

"Lizzie not now!"

"Fineeee, oh god Karina you look Like a mess I'm so glad your aunt Rebekah called us, this is an emergency."

"We're preparing you for Ms. Mystic falls, you know...the pageant?"
