Mica's PoV

I finally said it then I felt myself change. Pinikit ko mga mata ko acknowledging that he'll leave afterwards.

I looked back at him and opened my changed eyes in front of him. Pati na ang paglabas ng mga pangil ko.

I was expecting fear, shock and... disgust, but all he did was smile at me... and hold my hands.

"A-aren't you scared?"

He held my face and stared lovingly at me bago niya ako hinila palapit sa kanya para halikan ako sa noo

"N-nathan..." sambit ko trying to stop my tears that automatically fell down.

"Gusto kita. No, I think... mahal na kita talaga. Mahal kita. Bilang Famica. Tao ka man o bampira"

"W-why?"

"What do you mean why?"

"D-didn't AJ tell you about me?"

"He did. But I don't really care"

"Why?" I kept on asking because I don't understand

"Come on. Are you even listening when I tell you my stories?"

"H-ha?"

"I told you vampires don't scare me, Mica. They saved my life. Why would I be scared of those people who gave me another chance to live?"

"It's real?"

"Yeah. And I just realized..."

"What?"

"The vampire that saved me was your father"

"W-what?" Dilat matang tanong ko sa kanya.

"Tsk" iritang sambit ko sa kanya sabay hampas sa balikat niya

"What?"

"Hello nakalmot mo ko sa mukha? Biglang humaba kuko mo sa galit mo kay kuya. Nag-iba pa mata mo nun"

"Pano mo nalaman? Hindi naman ako nakaharap nun sayo?"

"Hindi nga pero nakaharap ka sa salamin. Kita dun"

Natahimik ako because I can't really absorb what's happening. This was supposed to be goodbye... but then... the opposite happened

"Don't push me away just because you're different from me Mica... because I don't really care. Not an inch"

Nathan's PoV

She didn't speak up but I see her tears kaya pinunasan ko agad yun.

"Stop crying. Gone are the days that you're going to cry Mica. I promise you that. Hindi ko man maipapangako na hindi ako magkakamali, but I assure you, never will I do things to intentionally hurt you"

She just leaned on me and cried her heart out and I hugged her to comfort her.

"I know kuya did a lot of damage but let me help you... let me help you heal those wounds Mica. Sana bigyan mo ko ng pagkakataon makapasok sa mundo na meron ka"

"This... this isn't a dream right?"

"No. Totoo to Mica. Mahal na mahal kita"

She didn't respond but she just cried hugging me back. Hinayaan ko lang siyang ganun hanggang sa huminahon siya bago ko siya hinatid pauwi sa bahay nila.
