"Kailangan ko? Tatay ko" sambit ko with a fake laugh. Napatingin naman siya saken so I looked back
"I mean he's there but it feels like he's not. Odd right?" Sambit ko looking at her finally seeing her eyes
"Your eyes are beautiful" I commented
"Wala kang alam"
"Sorry. Nathan nga pala. Nathan Alvarez"
"Wala akong pake kung sino ka"
"Oh siya sige na. Mukhang gusto mo din naman mapag-isa. Hindi na kita iistorbohin" sambit ko as I was about to stand up
"Is it really easy for humans to fall out of love?" Tanong nito
"Do you want me to answer that?"
"I gave everything... time and effort... pero naipagpalit niya ko agad sa ibang tao"
"I actually know nothing about love but one things for sure"
"Ano yun?"

Umiwas lang siya ng tingin saken pagkatapos ng sinabi ko

"You know what I think I can spare some more time" sambit ko settling down
"Aren't you even scared of talking to strangers?"

"Pano kung mapatay kita?"
"I'm not really scared of dying. Besides you don't look like someone who kills"

Ngumisi lang ako sa sinabi niya

Umalis na ko pra bigyan siya ng space at time para sa sarili niya. Naalala ko na lang yung near death experience ko nung bata ako.
Wala akong awareness sa mga bampira noon but then when the little me's curiosity kicked in walang kamalay malay sina mama na lumabas ako noon sa bahay and my footsteps lead me to the nearby bushes, unaware na bangin na pala yung likod nun.

I looked up at him nang ibinaba niya na ko and I saw his red eyes and fangs.

"Aren't you scared?"
"No. You look amazing! What are you po?"
Instead of answering my question, he tapped my head and before I knew it, mom's looking for me and the vampire guy already left.
