Xiao Nai faced a similar situation as Weiwei in his dorm. But, he was used to annoying questions from his cohabitants, so remained silent and annoyed his roommates instead.
"Ugh! Xiao! Nai! Would it bloody kill you to give some damn reactions?!" Hao Mei shouted in frustration. He pulled his hair and jumped down from his bed.
"You know what? I am going to..." He said and sat down on a chair by the table and switched on his laptop. It felt like he has not finished speaking yet, but he did not seem to planning on doing that anytime soon.
Now, this is something very useful for irritating others- not finishing speaking. Most people would slowly be driven to rage when their curiosity is answered with nothing. Xiao Nai, sadly, wasn't part of the most people group. He saw through Hao Mei instantly and went on with his never ending silence. But, others who are members of most people club, they are finding themselves unable to control their inquisitiveness, people like Lin Xing, Yu Banshan and Qiu Yonghou.
However, in face of the cold war going on here, they couldn't do anything but suffer in silence, pun intended.
So, it is safe to say that most of the residents of this particular dorm did not have a peaceful sleep. They woke up with dark circles under their eyes and drowsiness coursing through their veins. They spent the rest of the day functioning on caffeine and then found themselves victims of consuming too much of it. They yet again spent a night sleeplessly and were forced to repeat their actions of the previous day as they still had to study and work on their projects. In this manner, three unlucky male students of the Qinghua university found themselves stuck in a very vicious cycle.
"Ah! I am going to sleep until midday tomorrow! I will recover all my lost sleep and finally start sleeping on nights again!" Lin Xing screamed to himself on the third night.
Fate decide to be benevolent and after distributing a tragedy, it gave them a nice little weekend.
When Lin Xing had finally slept enough, he decided to get down from his bunk and wash his face.
"Hello," He said as he called his wife.
"Lin Xing, you slept well last night?" She asked.
"...more or less...Anyway, that's not important. What matters is that the iron tree in our family has bloomed." He said cheerfully.
"He didn't say anything at all, did he?" Zhou Yue asked rhetorically.
"You know us too well. Anyway, are you free today? Let's go out."
"I do have the rest of the day to myself, where do you want to go?"
"That's a secret, see you at the east gate at three. Bye."
"Alright,"
"Wait a minute!"
"What is it, Ah Xing?"
"Nothing, just wanted to say that I missed you a lot. Also, I love you."
If Zhou Yue knew her husband well, then Lin Xing knew his wife well too. He knew that currently, his Mrs. Lin was blushing down to her neck.
"Senior Zhou, are you alright? Why did your face turn red all of a sudden?" Sisi asked.
"Sisi, singles like us will never know what a couple talks about." Weiwei said.
Lin Xing overheard them through the phone call and laughed heartily before hanging up.
"Weiwei!" Zhou Yue said and threw a plushie at Weiwei who dodged as she burst into laughter.
