A Lost Friend - Villain/Vigilante Deku

CH-6 Are You Alive?

Jiro's POV
We were on the mountain zone and the boy who called himself Blade had just left through a portal of purple mist. Mina just collapsed onto her knees and started breathing heavily, I ran over to her and tried to make sure she was okay.
"Mina, are you okay?" I asked desperately.
"I-I'm f-fine" She responded. I looked over at Yaoyorozu and Kaminari to see if they were okay, Yaoyorozu had gotten up but Kaminari was still laying on the ground. We rushed over to him and Yaoyorozu created some bandages to stop the bleeding from Kaminari's shoulder. Soon some teachers came over to us and brought Kaminari to the hospital, the rest of us followed the teachers to the main entrance where we were questioned by the police.

As I was standing outside of the USJ next to Mina I got lost in thought. Why did he stop when I cried out? It couldn't have been Izu could it? No, he's dead. Stop getting your hopes up Kyoka. But only I could make that happen to Izu, he would always listen to whatever I would say unless it was about me paying for dinner. No, Izu would never become a villain. He always wanted to become a hero, that guy analysed their moves and quirks just like Izu used to do though. No I won't believe it, he would never do that to me. That guy tried to kill me. Wait, no he didn't. He didn't even try to attack me. Could it be that it was I-. My thought were cut short when Mina shook me to get my attention.
"You okay Jiro?" She asked.
"Huh, yeah. I'm just a little shaken up" I replied.

We got back on the bus and were taken to the dorms, I went straight to my own dorm with Mina following me. We sat down on my bed both shaken up from what had happened.
"Jiro, why did that guy stop when you screamed?" Mina asked.
"I... I don't know" I said.
"He was shaking, as though he had no choice but to listen to you though and his eyes th-"
"You saw his eyes? Tell me what they looked like" I begged.
"Uhm... One of them was a bright green colour whilst the other was red as though it had blood in it. As I was saying before though his eyes looked like they were about to cry"
"Green... About to cry... No Kyoka, that isn't true. It can't be" I said out loud.
"What can't be true?" She asked. I just stood up and grabbed one of my pictures with Izuku and showed it to Mina.
"Were his eyes like his?" I asked desperately.
"His left eye looked quite similar. Jiro... He died. I'm sorry, it just can't be him. The odds are minuscule" Mina painfully stated.
"I know... I just want him back, and he would do basically anything I asked him to do. Just like what happened today" I stated.
"I know, everyone wants the one they loved back if they lost them. Sometimes they even start making other people act like them in their head" I started crying. Mina then went and hugged me as I cried into her shoulder.
"I really miss him, I miss him so badly" I cried.
"I know, why don't you go and visit him. Maybe you can get some sense of understanding" Mina suggested.
"Sure, can you ask Mr Aizawa for me please?" I asked whilst wiping away my tears.
"Of course" Mina then got up and went to find Mr Aizawa.

I met Mina outside of the dorms waiting for her to tell me that it was okay. Once she did I headed off towards the cemetery, however as I was walking there I felt an urge to go to the beach. It was always a place Izuku and I would go whenever we needed to think so I just went there instead. Once I arrived I sat down in the middle of the beach and just stared at the ocean before I decided to speak to him.
"Hey Izu, I know I always talk to you at your grave but for some reason I felt like I had to come here. I miss you. Something happened today, we were attacked by villains at the USJ whilst we were supposed to be training. There was this one guy, he had weapons all over his body. He almost killed all of us but luckily we all survived. But the weirdest thing ever happened, when he was about to kill my first friend I had ever made since your death I snapped and screamed out asking him not to do it. Then he stopped moving, he was shaking as though he wanted to kill her but couldn't, at the time I assumed that it was my plea that stopped him but it must've been something else. I couldn't control anyone so I was just being a little crazy. At the time though I thought that he was you, I know crazy right. But I could only ever make you do what I said so when I asked him to stop and he stopped the thought crossed my mind. Sorry I'm rambling, I just miss you so much. So much so that I thought that you were alive and had become a villain. Anyway, I should be going I promised Mina that we would hang out tonight. I also need to check in on Kaminari and Yaoyorozu, I'm not friends with them but I'm still worried. Maybe I'll try to become friends with them, they seem nice. I just want you to know one thing Izu. I will always love you and only you"
