"Thank you, come again!" Mona walked inside the book store, noticing the store had a faint smell that reminded her of the ancient times. She came to a conclusion that the book store was old, most likely older than her. She was only 26 after all.
"Welcome, have a look around." She turned her attention to the cashier, who only smiled at her. She nodded, walking into one of the aisles. This seemed to be the history section by the looks of it. Mona was a huge fan of history, she studied in it for 2 years until astrology caught her eye. Since then, she's been studying astrology ever since.
Mona began flipping through the pages of one of the books that seemed to interest her. The Windblume Festival. A title that caught her eye, which is why she chose to scan through the pages. She had never heard of this 'Windblume Festival', considering she's been studying history for around 2 years. To her, it seemed like the book belonged in the fantasy section from the title and from the summary.
She decided to take the book back to it's rightful place, placing it in a free slot on one of the old shelves. That's when the young girl noticed a book right beside it. Grabbing the book, she noticed it was covered in dust, seemed like no one was interested in this one.
Mona sighed, gently wiping off the dust to see the title. The World of Teyvat. Seemed like a simple yet complex title to Mona. She turned to the back only to find no summary about the book. Weird, books would usually have a summary. The girl decided to brush it off, walking out of the fantasy aisle to the cashier near the front.
Not knowing what the book had to offer gave Mona a sense of excitement. "Alright, that will be $14.37." The cashier said, glancing over at the astrologist. So much for one book? This better be worth my time, she thought, reaching for her bag. She sure wasn't the richest person in the world, considering she only had 20 dollars in her purse.
"You can keep the change." She replies, reaching for the book. "Okay then, have a good day ma'am!" The cashier smiles once again, giving a small wave to Mona as she left the building.
The walk home was enough to leave Mona's feet in pain, she did wear heels after all, which wasn't the brightest idea. "Home at last." She huffed out, removing her heels before walking into her office.
It wasn't really an office, more like a collection of books Mona has kept over the years. The walls were covered with books on shelves. Now, she has another one to add to her collection. She didn't want to place it on its shelf right away, she had been inching to read the contents inside.
The astrologist plopped herself on one of her cushioned chairs, getting into a comfortable position. "Right, now let's see what you have to offer." The young girl says to herself as she opens the book, flipping to the first chapter.

A yawn was heard inside the office, indicating how tired the astrologist has become. During her readings, she had notice the book was filled with mysteries, making the young girl question what would happen next. This was what made her eager to read more, not taking a break in between pages.
The chapter was longer than Mona had expected, it has now been an hour since she started the book. Another yawn escaped as she closed the book, placing it on her lap as her eyes began to fall. "It wouldn't hurt to rest for a while." The young girl mumbled softly, slowly loosing the will to stay awake.
It had felt like ages since Mona has gotten a good amount of sleep. She'd always work overnight at her job, usually passing out as soon as she got home. Since it was Saturday, she had a free day to do whatever she liked. Another reason why she decided to go to the book store.
She enjoyed being alone, reading a good novel with a cup of hot coffee to satisfy her needs. Because of her new job, she wasn't able to do the things she enjoyed, such as reading in a coffee shop. But now as the darkness surrounded her, she knew it was time to relax, to get rid of all the stressful things that would come up in the near future.

Mona stiffened, feeling something push down on her chest. She woken once the thing touched her breast, making her sit up in an instant, wide eyed. "Excuse me? What do you think you're doing!" She stopped, noticing a small white fluffy bunny next to her.
She sighed in relief, glad it wasn't some random old guy trying to satisfy his own needs. "How'd you even get in my house?" The young girl questions, finally noticing where she was. She was laid on a valley, filled with flowers. Her heart rate quickened, slight panic building up inside her.
The astrologist quickly got up from the grass, looking around. "Wasn't I just home.." She questioned to herself, feeling a tug on her pants. Mona glanced down at the fluffy bunny, crouching down to it's level as she begins talking to it. "Do you perhaps know where I am?" It was quiet, a small gust of wind flowing past her. "Why did I expect for you to respond.." The young girl sighs, sitting back down on the grass.
The bunny hopped around, hoping to get the astrologist's attention. It worked, seeming as now she had her full focus on the white bunny. It began hopping away, making her get up from the grass. "Where are you going?" Mona yells as she tries to catch up with the fast animal. She had to pick up speed since the bunny was traveling at a faster pace than her.
After a short jog, Mona found herself in front of a huge wall. She wasn't able to see inside, but she guessed for there to be a village. The astrologist glanced down at the bunny, noticing it hopping over to the front gate. Quietly walking over, she noticed the front gate was guarded. A sigh escaped, not wanting to know where this would lead to.
The bunny began hopping away, leaving Mona alone in front of the gate. "Hey, where are you going?" She yells in a whisper, not wanting to be noticed by the guards. "Great, I'm guessing it wanted me to go inside." The young girl gets an uneasy feeling as she slowly walked towards the gate, getting stopped by one of the guards.
"And where do you think you are going? You need documents to be able to enter." The man says in a stern tone. Mona slightly shivered with fear as she spoke up. "Sir, what documents are you talking about?" The guard gave a confused look as he stepped closer, scanning her unusual choice of clothing. "Where are you from?" He asks, avoiding her first question. "Kyoto Japan, why?"
He glanced over at the other guard, who only shrugged. "Miss, stop lying. There's no such thing as a Kyoto Japan." Now Mona was just as confused, how could no one know Japan? They both spoke her language, but it made no sense if they didn't know Japan. "Are you accusing me of lying?" Mona once again got that uneasy feeling as the guard answered. "What? No, of course not-" He was cut off as someone walked outside from the front gate. "What are you two doing, go back to your places and do your job!"
The voice startled Mona as she turned her attention to the new person. "Oh my, how could you guys harass such a beautiful woman!" She quickly walks over to Mona, cupping her cheeks as she pouts. "Did these two men hurt you in any way?" The young girl was far out of her comfort zone, why was some random stranger so close to her personal space. She stayed quiet, not knowing how to answer. "Look what you two did! You made the woman too frightened to speak." Both of the guards apologized, not knowing how to handle the situation.
"Come dear, let's get you inside." The random woman wraps her hand around Mona's waist, walking her inside, ignoring the complaints coming from the guards. "I apologize for how those men treated you, let me treat you to a meal on my behalf." Mona only nodded, still not knowing how to handle all of this at once. She wanted to go home, but where was home if no one else knew where Japan was...
