Mona was thrown across the floor as the guard slammed the door shut, leaving her alone in a bedroom.

She didn't care where she was at the moment, the astrologist was more concerned about her friend. Mona didn't know where they took Kokomi and it's leaving her worried sick. If it came down to it, she'd just have to break out of the room to find her.

The young girl gets up from the wooden floor, wiping off any dirt that decided to get on her clothing. The room itself was a bit of a surprise. She didn't know what time period she was in, but everything around her seemed to be modern, just like her world. Knowing this made her think she was not in another world but in another timeline.

Mona shook it off, seeing as though no one had phones equipped on them from the looks of it. They probably wouldn't even know what technology is.

She sighed from the quietness. Mona only knew Kokomi for a few hours, but during that time made her feel comfortable, forgetting about even wanting to go back to her world. Fact is, Mona didn't have any friends back home, she had books to keep her occupied from the loneliness. Of course, reading every day didn't help often. The astrologist would have plenty of breakdowns, knowing full well she had no one to talk to. All she wanted was for someone to be there for her and Kokomi was that person she had been looking for. She was kind, caring, and a very good listener.

The room she was in didn't have any windows, meaning the only way for her to escape was through the door that lead into a hallway. The girl was very much aware the door had to be locked, why else would they throw her into this room anyway?

The room wasn't anything special, but considering she was an outsider, she thought she'd have a more 'jail like' room. A room with nothing but a bed and a bathroom. But, that wasn't the case. This room was an actual bedroom, it had almost everything a girl could ask for. (In this case, what Mona would ask for) Books, clothing, a desk and even painting materials.

Sitting down on the violet colored bed, Mona began to think. Who was that guy anyway? Yeah, his name is Scaramouche, but that still doesn't give her a clean answer. Who is he to the public? People seemed to call him 'master' which lead Mona to think that he was the ruler of this village. Why else would they call him that? He also has his own castle and throne. If that wasn't enough convincing then Mona doesn't know what is.

The clock was ticking and there was still nothing to be heard from outside. Mona got up from the bed and slowly walked to the door, placing the tips of her fingers on the door knob. She breathed in before turning the knob, pulling it outward. Nothing.

Mona expected for this to happen, so her hopes were not up too high. That was, until the door knob moved, making the astrologist take a step back. Her heart pounded in her chest as the door bust opened. The person she had prayed not to meet was standing right in front of her.

The man chuckled as he walked in, slamming the door behind him. Mona was the first to speak up. "What do you want?" She questioned, slowing backing up. "Why so curious, darling?" Her face was enough to give Scaramouche the idea that she was extremely uncomfortable. He noticed the gap between them and began to walk forward.

Grab something Mona, protect yourself. Her mind was filled as something inside her pleaded to grab a weapon of some sort. Her stomach twisted and turned as she had a horrible gut feeling. Her spine hit the wall as Scaramouche grabbed her hand. His hands were soft but his grip was harsh. She knew whatever happened next wasn't going to be to her liking.

Before the man could speak, the girl grabbed a small golden colored lamp, aiming it to his skull. She missed, barely. The man was quite shocked, not expecting her to be so brave as to attack him.

He grabbed her wrist, the lamp falling to the hard wooden floor. Mona screamed in terror as he threw her across the ground. She slammed her hands on the floor, trying to get up after the impact. The room spinned slowly as she got to her knees. "You look like a dog, begging for forgiveness." She heard footsteps behind her as she scanned the room. The woman wasn't about to give up a fight just yet.

Scaramouche crouched down, placing both his hands on Mona's shoulders as he whispered into her ear. "Are you eager for more?" The man questioned, making the astrologist sick to her stomach. She wasn't a toy for some man to mess around with. If anything, he was acting like a child, thinking he can get his way.

"Eager? You're very humorous." She mocked the man, elbowing him in the stomach. He let out a quiet whine as his hands wrapped around his stomach. Mona quickly took this opportunity to open the door and run out.

"You will pay for what you've done!" He screamed in anger as Mona ran faster, away from the room. Her eyes began to water from the overwhelming fear she had just encountered. All she cared about now was finding Kokomi and getting the hell out of here. "Kokomi! Kokomi, where are you?" The girl yelled, looking from room to room.

Silence filled the halls. She wasn't here. Only Mona's clacking of her heels was heard. "Goddamn it Kokomi, where are you.." The astrologist stopped, noticing a stairwell that led down. Perhaps what was down there could lead Mona one step closer to finding Kokomi.

She took ahold of the railings as she slowly walked down into the dark abyss. Mona hesitated for a while after hitting the bottom. A few candles hanging on the wall lit the place just enough for Mona to see cages. "Kokomi..?" She whispered, looking into the poorly lit cages.

"Mona..? Is that you?"
