Chapter 12- Redeemed

Third POV

Dec's sobs subsided as he wiped the tears with the palm of his hand. He was still in a very awkward and uncomfortable position splayed out over a huge rock. He groaned in pain as he slipped off the side of it

"Oh bollocks" he swore when half of his body started to slip to one side making him unsteady on the rock Don't even think about falling off it he said to himself but he jinxed it as he slipping of the side and fell straight onto his back

"Ahh" he groaned "bloody hell!" He yelled under his breath as he sat up rubbing the back of his head. Just then 3 known voices called out his name oh great, why is he here! he thought to himself as Stephen ran quicker than the two boys

"Heya mate!" Stephen exclaimed as he over topped Dec as he looked down on him "had a fall" just then Dec flashed up the middle finger as he muttered shut up under his breath.

"I umm" Stephen struggled to get his words out as he rubbed the back of his neck "I'm sorry...Dec...you know I didn't mean—" He was then cut off by Dec as he snapped out again

"No your NOT!" He interjects loudly as Stephen flinched in response "you would not have known you weren't EVEN THERE!" He snapped as he saw Dec II cowering behind Bear. Stephen then turned around and faced Dec II as he gave a slight grin as he coaxed him to come over

"Why did you bring him here?!" Dec yelled loudly causing Dec II to flinch as Stephen wrapped his arms around his clone.

"Don't be rude, Dec" Stephen said sternly his arm still wrapped around Dec II's shoulder "he isn't who you think he his—"

"Then WHO IS HE THEN!!??" Dec roared "In my mind he still wants to kill me and I will not hesitate to fight back If I could!" the cold tone of voice would make anyone freeze up in fear. Some people are just down right Scary when angry. Stephen sighed in response;

"He just wants to talk to you" Stephen said calmly as Dec II nodded slowly as he walked over toward Dec. Dec didn't bother to hiss like a cat to this unwanted guest that sat down beside like to be honest hes too tired and exhausted to do so.

"Okay" Said Bear with a grin "we'll leave you two to talk and hopefully help you two to gain trust and to try and work something out. Especially you Dec." Bear openly admitted which Dec took for offence.

Dec's POV

I felt Sick to my stomach with having my clone sit next to me but I tried to make how I felt. I hope Stephen is right though with the redeeming qualities. We were in awkward silence until I finally spoke

"I'm sorry..." I whisper he then looked at me in horror

"Why are you sorry!?" Clone me exclaimed in shock as he tried to convince nothing was my fault "I-I slit  your wrist, I-I destroyed your necklace I hurt you in so many ways and you're the one who's apologising?!"

"Cause I murdered Ant on your side out of pure animosity" I choked out Dec II stared in shock before trying place his arm around my shoulder "And..." I sniffed in pain as another wave of tears threatened to spill over. "I know that we are the same person, I was just blinded by hatred when you killed Ant and on my side, t-the way..." I struggled to continue "I just wanted you lot to feel the same things I felt, that's why..."

Dec II arched his eyebrow in response as guilt took over me again as I placed the back of my hand against my mouth as my clone gently pulled me in for a hug I struggled In the grip confused why my clone is actually caring about me.

"Look...I fully understand why you did  this" Dec II whispered gently in my ear as my shoulders relaxed "I get that you hate me, I fully understand why... I hurt you so much and I'm really, really sorry..." Dec II choked under his breath "A-And I'll let you take your anger out on me but I'll dodge out the way"
