Chapter 13 - A request

  

{When you are angry or frustrated,  sometimes you tend to remove your anger on the wrong person and sometimes just by taking a reckless decision, in both the cases,  one should make sure that they don't regret it}

       2 days had passed. They seemed as hollow as drum. Smile,  because no one should know what you are going through,  for them knowing your weak side can make them strongerq

        I was smiling,  as if everything was normal but deep inside I knew that everything was rotten. A rotten hope that everything will be fine.

       School was same as before. Nathan giving his angry look,  mainly 'cause I wasn't reacting to any of his taunts,  his anger was roused by my unrapt behavior.

       Rachael was so happy with Shawn's attention that I became selfless enough to alter her happiness with my problems.

       It was 2 A.M.

       I was staring at the mirror adjacent to my bed. I was tired,  so tired that even my mind was not calm enough to sleep.

       I was able to feel the stillness and pause that was repressing inside my head. I was caught in my own darkness.

        "Just let me sleeeeeeppppp", I shouted. sometimes you just want be away from your own thoughts.  They can build you stronger as well as can tear you apart. I just wanted to go away,  away from this bullshit.

       'tring tring'

       My cell phone rang.

      Who the hell is calling me at this time at nigh ? curiosity played its trick.

      Who else!!  There it was; RACHAEL.

      "You know what,  Just check on friendsbook,  I uploaded a pic with Shawn and I'm getting likes at the speed at light. Fuck,  can you believe it,  This in true sense means "AWESOMENESS"

       Haha!! Over excitement.. !! "Okay, stop yelling in my ears,  its just a photo"

       "Just a pic? Are you mad?  Its my pic with Shawwnnyy, He's so cute ", She started with her utterly senseless prattle.

       " Okay,  I will check it out,  I gotta sleep now " , I lied as I cut her call. Atlest someones life is going perfect. I tinge of jealousy swept through me.

         I switched on my laptop. ' lets do some surfing' , I smiled wryly. It had been almost a month since I was away from social networking sites. I entered my username and password. My account appeared in front of me. Tons of messages. 'ohh wow,  surprising' I was the least active person on Facebook and it was really weird when people message you knowing the given fact.

         I wrote 'Rachael Turkinson' in the search engine. Her wall appeared. I saw her photo with Shawn. A bookworm with a stud. I shouldn't say this about my friend,  but they both were opposite, totally opposite, she was a scholar and here Shawn hardly managed to pass, He loved sports and here she hated sports and called it a complete waste of time,but whatever,  afterall opposite attract!!  No doubt they would have looked like a cute couple if they were together.

          I glanced through the friend request.  30  friend request in one month. Woah,  Nathan's incidence has given me enough popularity. Umm, not bad.  I wondered.

        Mila Shaw - Yup,  I know her,  classmate.

        Ragner Mushwell,  Omg!! Hottest senior. Well this is great.

       Who's this now?  I went through his profile.  Football player,  'well thats lively' , I wondered. Crimson International - thats popular enough.

       Gregory Wales...

       I was just going through the request and suddenly a chat box popped up.

       Adric Parker .

       'Strange,  this guy is online at 2 A.M,  bloody night owls.'

        Adric Parker : Hie

        I didn't bother to reply, the guy who texts you at 2 is either a workaholic or a psycho,  and I surely don't wanna be friends of either who fall in that catergory.

         I logged out my account, a final yawn, I pressed my eye lids shut and went to sleep.
