It had been 2 months since my graduation, my best friends and I had decided to go to New York for a gap year. I waited for weeks for the day to come and now it was time to go. My bags were all packed, I raced down stairs to say my final goodbye to my parents, I couldn't help but shed a few tears whilst saying goodby to them. They walked me outside and waiting for me was a taxi, I said goodbye to my parents and hugged them tighter than ever. I finally got in the car and saw my parents in tears, I will miss them so much I thought to myself I'll be back though I said to myself. I finally got to the airport and got my bags and walked towards the check in but before I could get in I was bombarded by all of my best friends. We all screamed and ran towards each other. "I've missed you guys so much" I said to my friends, "I haven't" Chloe jokes, we all laugh and head to the check in. After a few minutes of talking and catching up we all get on the plane, I take a seat next to Kristen and Jess and we talk and talk until we fell asleep. I had missed them so much and couldn't wait for what the future had in store for all of us.
