What happened? Why do I feel like I've been stomped over by an elephant.
My body is exceedingly exhausted at this moment, my eyes were brightened enough for me to barely see what's ahead. And I certainly cannot remember what happened.
Ying Li
I stopped moving as a bright light of golden yellow appeared at the middle of the estranged room.
A beautiful Lady covered in golden and yellow fabric or dress up like those fiction things in a novel appeared before me. She was floating in mid air, with ten floating bright stars circling around her. Gracefully she looked like a heavenly Goddess of Prosper, Luck and Life.
She even looked like the Goddess my Grandmother used to tell me from her epic stories when I was just a small kid. But it's not possible, they're fiction.
Do not worry Child, For I am here to explain your newly attained Life. A Chance in second life, the plea and compassion of the Families you delivered Justice to helped you attained a second chance in life.
Did she just read my mind? Am I dreaming? Also Families? Justice? I am missing out something here.
"I'm confuse." I stated clueless
"Your life as Ying Li ends the day you passed away and from now you are hereby called Ying Elidys, only daughter of Duke Elidys and Duchess Elidys. You're currently 18 years old and the former head of the Knights of Thrithen Kingdom of the Southern Empire." The Goddess said. My previous life began to flow my head.
I then began to process her words, I then began to notice my surroundings. My room was entirely different, everything was looking expensive and royalty, the lamps were now candle sticks, the tables and chairs looked posh or eminence. The Walls were colored cream with a brown dot patterns embedded with gold candle stands, the windows were ten feet high the same as the curtains.
Everything looked like I'm in some kind of Nobility or Eminence the historical places where you see in European culture.
"Let me get these sort out. I died and then regain a new life as a noble because of the Families I helped? Then you a Goddess out of nowhere gave me a second chance in life?" I said sounding ridiculous to her. She nodded in grace.
"But—"
When I glance to her she was gone. The beautiful Goddess disappeared.
A couple of Knocks from the door intervenes.
"Um come in!" I yelled.
"Lady Ying!" A woman older than me entered dressed in a black and white servant attire, holding a tray of food.
"Lady Ying are you feeling any better? How Do you feel pain?" She asks sounding worried, and her accent was undeniably impressive she sounded like british.
"Yes I Am feeling better, can you mind telling me what happened?"
"You don't remember Lady Ying? You were injured from the battle, the Empire's Enemies a month ago sustaining severe injuries, you manage to defend the Capital against the enemies but you received an injure to the head." The proud servant told me.
"What? I did that?" I ask clueless, the Goddess didn't tell me about that? I am super missing out of everything!
"I apologize, I couldn't remember. Can you tell me what is your name?" I ask.
She smiled at me awkwardly. "I understand My Lady since the Physician did told us that you were injured to the head and it might take awhile for you to get well, my name is Marta. Your personal hand-maiden servant." She then curtsy then looks at me.
If everything is true then the I must speak to the Goddess once again for more details. How I wish to see her again right no everything seems to be odd.
