A week later.

The Imperial hall was filled with beautiful ladies from all over the Kingdoms to nobles.

The Princess debut was soon to start. I dare say Miss Marta deemed right.

Mother perfectly did get me the most beautiful dress amongst all the ladies around me for the moment.

"Lady Ying, Its nice to see you've recovered now. And that dress is certainly gorgeous." Countess Aurelia commented, then here comes another one. I'm sure Mother set this on purpose, I wasn't suppose to get any attention!

"It looks good on you! I heard the dressmaker was the personal tailor of the Emperor, how lucky you got one of the deluxe collections!" the ladies were envious of my dress, as I've learned style and status is important in the South. So Mother deliberately intended me to wear such dress to impress everybody.

Despite the masquerade masks in my face, they immediately recognized me.

How annoying, Ying Elidys parents are sure handful they like to shower their daughter with their riches.

"Ladies settle down, give Lady Ying her personal space." suddenly another woman invades.

The Party went on smoothly and before the Princess debut, Grand Duke Skyelar was the host of the Masquerade Ballroom Party, the Sultana's brother. As the nobles and I listened, the Grand Duke greeted us all with a warm remarks also giving credit to the Emperor who is currently away by making this party happen and to my Father who is the current head of Thrithen Palace.

Fireworks displays began to explode at the sky all over the Kingdom, everyone was overjoyed and excited to meet their Princess. I was curious too, since this Princess is rarely spoke of, neither the nobles or the people of this Kingdom have met her.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, I Present to you my beautiful niece!"

"Princess . . "

I immediately froze in my spot. That face? Could she be?

I cannot believe my eyes, Am I seeing things? I covered my mouth as I watch the stunning Princess descends the stairs. She was wearing a very beautiful dress that represented her really well, tears accidentally fell from my eyes as her face made me remember a very close friend of mine.

My best friend who's the reason why I became a lawyer in the first place, Yaya Yah. She was my everything after she passed away I sworn to take down any criminals I can so that I could prevent the same incident to her for others. But then I died and received a new life as a Lady or even a Knightess.

Seeing my best friend after ten years was a bliss thing to experience.

"My Lady are you alright? You look remorseful out of sudden?" Baroness Gaia asks.

I shook no to her wiping my tears away. "I just remembered something important to me, please leave me no mind Baroness." I said still polite keeping my professionalism despite my sudden condition.

"I hope she's not strict like the Sultana."

"Let's go meet her shall we?" Everyone began to whisper talking about her highness, happy to see her finally and personally.
