After about 15 minutes of not being able to see any sign of buildings or speeders; Jacen said down, crying uncontrollably. A loth wolf came up to him, Jacen didn't think much of it as random animals often followed him around. As it laid down next to him, Jacen took a closer look at the unusually large wolf. A strange marking was on it's forehead, almost like the rebellion symbol Sabine had designed. As Jacen continued to cry, the wolf stated, "Dume, Son of Dume." in a comforting voice. "Who is Dume?" Jacen asked confused. "Father" the wolf stated. As Jacen sat there thinking, a memory came from his subconsious. If you ever need me, just call out my name, I'll be there, no matter what.

Catching his breath, Jacen wondered about that phrase. His father was, like Garel said, dead. But he was also a jedi. His mother had told him about his father comforting her after his death and Aunty Soka had told him about force ghosts. Taking a deep breath, Jacen called out with hesitation.

"Dad? Are you there? Kanan Jarrus? I just want to speak to you if it isn't to much, just at least once. I have been having some problems at school with Garel and his 'friends'. Beating me up, bullying me. I heal myself so nobody knows or worries. Don't want mum to have a higher kill count than chopper. They make fun of you too and that's the worst part. I can take what they say about me but when it comes to you? I haven't told anyone for anther reason. What if they think I'm weak? Like Aunty Soka was on the run, survived order 66 and more. Obi Wan went through hell. Anakin turned back to the light and had been a slave when he was a child. You sacrificed yourself. You have all the other jedi. And mum, who doesn't even have the force. My problems are trivial compared to that. I should be able to handle a bit of bullying. Without the force. So, if you could send a sign to help, it would be gladly appreciated." Jacen said, just releasing everything that had been bottled up inside. He noticed that his injuries were nearly all heal up, his ankle just giving the odd flare up. Jacen could almost swear he felt 2 people beside him, one that felt oddly familiar. Wiping away the last of his tears, Jacen started to walk back to the Ghost.
