"Hello, Paige," I gag as I say the name I haven't said in five years.

"Hello... Bellatrix," she rolls her eyes.

I smirk when the guard lets her out of her cell, but cuffing her. I pick up the phone, waiting for Paige to do the same. She scowls at me as the guard backs away, fitting in with all of the other uniformed officers. They remind me of when Paige and I used to do ballet together. A time when we were happier, when we were more naïve than we are now. A time when she wasn't a boyfriend-stealing little bitch-

"What do you want?" Paige asks, relatively soundly. To be honest, I thought that there'd be more yelling before we got to the point.

"You know what I want. The necklace, where is it?"

"What?"

"Did I stutter?"

"No, but-"

"So, answer me. Where is it?"

"Why would I tell you?" She spits.

I sigh, leaning back in my chair. I put the phone down and get up, walking over to the water dispenser, grabbing a plastic cup and I fill it to the brim. I slowly walk back to the small booth and pick up the phone once again.

"Because," I say, sipping the water, "I'm not the one in the insane asylum," I lower my voice to a whisper, "I'm the one that put you here, and I did it in an extremely dire situation. Imagine what I could do with the resources I have out here and a dedicated couple of hours."

I shrug.

"But, alas, the choice is down to you, dear sister," I lean in closer, "If you want everyone to know that you cheated your sister's trust, cheated on your boyfriend and slept with mine, that's not my problem. Well, it is, since I'll be the one letting everyone know. If you want, I can explain how I'll ruin your reputation, and your life - once you get out of this wretched place. And to think: I was going to be put in here! Me!"

I chuckle.

"Well?"

Paige tilts her head down, considering her options. She rubs her fingers against her temple, closes her eyes and furrows her brows, pondering. After a few minutes of sitting like that, she suddenly looks up and snaps her fingers.

"I remember where it is," she says, placing her hand back on the table.

I raise my eyebrows, gesturing for her to continue.

"But, first, there's something I need you to do for me."

"What is it?" I sigh.

"Get me out of here."

"No."

"Then, you're not getting your necklace," she states simply.

I burst out in laughter.

"What?" I stutter in between giggles, "You're in no position to bargain."

"Well, that's my deal. Get me out of here and I'll tell you," she says.

"No. Prepare to have your secrets released."

I place the phone down and get out of my seat. I'm about to leave when Paige starts banging on the glass.

"Fine, you win! I'll tell you where it is," she places her hands on the small table when I sit back down.

I smirk.

"Where is it?"

"Nana has it."

"Nana's dead."

"I know."

~ ~ ~

Paige's voice rings in my ears.

"Nana has it."

But, Nana's dead, so how can she have it? Maybe it was passed on in her will. However, I was there, and my beautiful, deadly necklace wasn't. Maybe it's in her house. Although, the house was repossessed when she died and I never saw it - nor did my cousins -, even after looking around for over an hour. Maybe Paige means that it's in Nana's coffin with her. I doubt it, though. She probably just meant that... I don't know.

This is all so confusing! If only Paige didn't steal my necklace or sleep with my boyfriend, none of this would've happened. She wouldn't be in an insane asylum, our parents would be alive, those poor, seven, no - ten, considering my foster family - people would be alive too. My stupid sister was responsible for ten murders. She was the reason that Nana died. She had a heart attack after she found out that Paige 'murdered' our parents - her child, and her child's partner -. She just carked it! If that's not enough proof for you, I don't know what is!

"Ugh!" I groan, smashing my fist on my bed, making the whole mattress jiggle.

I rest my head against the wall, pulling the blanket up and curling under it. As I lay here, about to drift off into a restless sleep, a knock forces me to get out of bed. I turn to my nightstand, the clock reading 10:54pm. Who would be knocking at this time of night?

I cautiously approach the door. The knocks have become consistent now; five raps every 20 seconds.

"Hello?" I call out, "Who is it?"

The only response I get is more knocking. I look through the peephole, and nothing greets me. No person, no package. But, why would a package or a person be here at almost 11pm? The knocking stops for a few minutes, so, I turn around, and start heading back to my bed. Someone - something - bangs on my door, causing it to groan and shake.

"Whoever you are, stop!" I yell.

They seem to listen as the knocking stops, but only for a few seconds, before huge bangs begin to ring on the door. I reach for my phone, but it's not there; it's charging in my bedroom. I sprint to my room, grabbing the device and hiding under my bed.

Whoever - whatever - it is kicks the door, causing it to fall. They step over it and enter my house. I turn my phone on Do Not Disturb and hold my breath as they enter my bedroom.

"Bellie, Bellie, Bellie," my sister's voice tuts.

Paige?! Did she get out?!

"You were right. It's in Nana's grave with her," she says.

Why would she tell me that?

I scream as she flips the bed over, slicing the knife through my chest.

I wake up, drenched in sweat. Thank God that is was just a dream. What did Paige say about the necklace? That I was right. It is with Nana; it is with her in her grave. I guess I know what my next adventure is. I am going to get that necklace, and nothing - no-one - is going to stop me.
