"it a-all s-started several y-years ago. Y-you see I u-used to be a p-princess of this c-country. L-life was good. Until.."
*flashback*
"toko get changed for the ballroom party" mommy said urgently.
"ok mommy" I smiled as I skipped to my room happily. Oh boy a party! I'll get to wear pretty dresses, eating yummy food and maybe even dance with a handsome prince. Oh I'm so excited.
"come along young princess I'll help you get changed" one of the maids said kindly.
"ok" I beamed as I took her hand.
She gently brushed my hair and dressed me in a light purple dress. I spun around happily. I bet I look like a real princess now.
"I want to see what I look like" I bounced around excitedly.
"ok young princess calm down" my maid chuckled "follow me. I'll take you to a full length mirror"
I walked up to the mirror. I was expecting to see myself in a pretty dress but instead I saw a scary face! I let out a frightened scream before everything went dark...
*time skip*
I opened my eyes to find myself in mommy and daddy's room. I gasped. Oh no. I'm not allowed in this room! I was about to leave when I heard a dripping sound. I looked up to see mommy and daddy hanging on the wall!
"ahhhhh!" I screamed.
"pretty brutal sight huh?" I looked up in surprise to see a dark haired man "pleasure to meet you young princess I'm Jim kirigiri"
"what h-happened my parents?" I whimpered.
He bent down and poked my chest "the monster inside you killed them"
My eyes widened. I killed them!
"here kid take this" he handed me a drink. I nodded and drank it. I could feel a burning at the back of my throat.
"what was that?" I gagged.
"that my dear was a magic potion" he grinned.
"a magic potion" I tilted my head in confusion.
He nodded "I'm afraid it's not safe to allow you to roam the streets. Not with that monster inside you. So that potion will stop you from leaving this place"
My eyes widened. I'm trapped here.
"of course your just a child so I take pity on you. The spell can be broken but only when you find someone who loves you for both you and your demons" he petted my head "I wish you the best of luck child" with that he walked away.
I cried helplessly into my hands, feeling more alone than I ever have.
