I am woken up by sunlight streaming through the floor to ceiling windows, literally being blinded but I squint down at my torso and see a muscly, tattooed arm wrapped tightly across it, I feel a hard body pressed up against my back and an unfamiliar long, hard pressure at my lower spine.

Flashbacks of what happened yesterday race through my mind, making me squeeze my eyes shut.

Fuck, I need to tell my dad.

I need to get out of here, like right now, I try to squeeze out from Enzo's arm, making him tighten it around me. I huff as I try again, this time managing to slip underneath it; I look down at Enzo sleeping and wish he was like this with me more often. I sigh and get all of my belongings together, slipping my heels on with his boxers and T-shirt, I bet I look like such a mess right now.

I slip out of Enzo's front door and call an Uber, it gets here in 5 minutes and I slip inside of the car.

I turn my phone on and feel my phone buzz against my thigh and turn it over.

Yesterday -
9:30 pm
Nancy-bear : what's happening? Lila i swear to god if Enzo's hurt you I'll beat him up!

Today -
8:42 am
me : no he hasn't, calm down hulk. I am in an Uber home, see you in 10.

I look down at my phone and decide to text my mom as well while I'm in a texting mood.

8:46 am
me : hey mommy, I need to tell you and dad something, can I call you later? <3

8:50 am
Mommy <3 : hey sweetheart, of course you can call me, is everything okay?

8:50 am
me : um no not really, but I'll tell you when I get home okay?

8:52 am
Mommy <3 : okay sweetheart x

I stare out the window as I realise I am nearly home, I grab all of my stuff and a hundred dollar bill out my phone case and give it to the driver. I run up the stairs to my apartment and burst through the doors, Nancy is sat at the breakfast bar in the kitchen and immediately rushes over to me as I collapse on the floor in her arms.

"N-Nancy it was horrible" I cry to her, my emotions finally being let out.

"Lila, oh my gosh what has happened?" She asks me quickly, tears in her eyes too.

I tell her everything that happened and explained why I had a hideous band aid on my forehead and when I was done Nancy looked like she couldn't murder someone.

"Nancy..say something please" I beg, I can't stand silence.

"Well all I can say is I'm glad Enzo found you in time and that I hope your dad beats the shit out of him but I am glad you're okay" she squeezes me tight.

I feel my phone buzz against the floor next to me, I glance at Nancy and she nods her head for me to check who it is.

9:39 am
Unknown : where did you go Li, I wanted to see you when you woke up?

I feel Nancy reading it over my shoulder, "who is that? Li?" She asks, "it's Enzo" I say back to her.

"What do I reply" I wonder out loud, glancing at Nancy.

"The truth, say you needed to come home" she says, shrugging.

9:46 am
me : I just needed to come home to clear my head a bit, i don't think we should've basically kissed yesterday, I wasn't in the right frame of mind.

I show Nancy what I wrote and sent and she winces, "little harsh Lila"

I read it again, fuck i sound like a bitch, I groan, "hopefully he replies nicely"

My phone buzzes almost immediately, I turn it over to read the message and groan again.

9:47am
Enzo : yeah you're right, it was a mistake.

"Oof Lila, that's even more harsh, are you okay" she asks me, peering into my eyes, I fake smile at her and shrug.

I get up off the floor and pull her up with me, "I'm gonna call my mom and dad and tell them what happened" i inform her.

"Okay, I'm gonna make up some breakfast for us" she tells me, walking over to the pantry.

I walk into my room and pull up my moms contact and press call.

• The next day •

I am walking onto my college campus as I figured I should probably go to class since I haven't been in like a week, I just couldn't be bothered and I did all the work at home. I am scrolling through the recent news and see a article about Enzo, this is never good, but I click on the article anyways, immediately regretting it, a picture of Enzo and the same woman that was pictured last time.

Sure she's not his girlfriend, fucking liar.

Hurt runs through me as I clear the screen from my phone, turning it off, I stare into the distance, thinking about how he cared for me only yesterday and last night he had already moved on after I dismissed him.

Hate all men.

I arrive at my class and walk in, sitting at the back, I am 5 minutes early so i chill and watch people walk in, i see a boy I haven't seen before walk in and he is very attractive. I see his eyes find me at the back and his body starts moving in my direction until he's stood next to me.

"Is anyone sitting here" his voice said, not as deep as Enzo's but still pretty deep.

"No" I reply, moving my bag off the chair.

He sits down next to me and man-spreads his legs, making me roll my eyes, he looks over to me and extends his hand "I'm Alex, and you?"

"Lila, nice to meet you"

So a little filler chapter, i thought I'd write a calmer chapter than the last two :)
