I wake up to bright sunshine streaming through the blinds, them not keeping the light out at all. I roll over onto my back and stare at the ceiling, the memories from last night washing over me and filling me with dread. I pick up my phone from the nightstand and slide it open to see messages from Enzo, Nancy and Luci. I roll my eyes as I read through each one, all begging for my forgiveness. I'm not even that mad at Nancy and Luci, it's Enzo that I'm mad at. His whole persona yesterday was completely off and weird, he was being so standoffish, it made me cringe as I think of how wound up I got over it.
I sit up in the bed, the sheets falling from my body, revealing my oversized shirt. I slide out of the bed, walking over to the dresser opposite the bed and slide my jeans and socks on, getting ready to leave. I slide my shoes on and open the bedroom door, revealing Jacob in the kitchen making a coffee.
"Hey" I say softly, picking my bag and watching as he finishes making his coffee. He spins round and sends me a small smile.
"Hey are you okay?" He says, watching me closely and waiting for my response.
"Yeah I think I'm gonna go though I need to sort some things out" I say, my eyes drifting round the run down apartment. He has made it homely though so it isn't too run down.
"Okay well text me if you need anything and if you need to stay round again, you can" he says warmly, sipping his coffee.
"Thank you so much Jacob, I really appreciate it" I walk over to him and he slides his coffee on the side and wraps his arms around me. I give him a quick squeeze and release him, turning to leave.
"No problem Lila, I'll see you later" he says from behind me. I turn my head slightly and shoot him a smile.
I walk out the door and inhale a deep breath.
Time to sort this shit out.

I walk through my apartment door, bracing myself as I see Nancy and Luciano sat on the couch in deep conversation. I place my bag down quietly on the floor next to the door and slip my shoes off. I see them notice me and their voices halt as they brace themselves for whatever I do or say.
"Hey Lila" Nancys husky voice flits through the silent apartment, the place filled with awkwardness.
"Hey Nance" I say back, using the nickname to give a silent hint that I'm not actually that mad. I see her sigh with relief slightly.
I walk over to where they are on the couch and sit on the one next to it, facing them slightly. I tuck my legs up underneath me as I analyse the way that they're sat. Nancy has one of her legs slightly tucked under one of Luciano's, the small gesture making my heart ache for Enzo.
