(i was busy for most of the afternoon yesterday, so here's the promised chapter)

Without a second thought, you ran to the source of the yelling.

You then stumble upon a boy around the same age as you with sonic silver hair, who looks to be a knight.

???: oh gods...

You tilt your head and examine the horse. It appeared to have an open wound in the middle of its leg.

(Y/n): Hmm...

The knight noticed the sound and looked around and noticed you.

???: I thought no one was here. Strange... in any case, do you know how to treat animal injuries?

You nod at his question.

(Y/n): Yes, please let me examine your horse.

???: Of course!

The knight nods and moves out of the way.

You kneel down by its injured leg.

(Y/n): fine, good

You slowly placed your hand on the wound, and the horse neighed again.

You reach into your bag and look for bandages. You take it out and carefully wrap it around the wound.

Your horse will be perfectly fine. You might want to walk the rest of the way to your destination and make sure they get lots of rest.

The knight smiled sweetly at your words.

Thank you very much!I feared that that would be the last time I'd ride her.

(Y/n): It was no problem.. err... sorry, I don't think I got your name.

???: Oh, my apologies!! I'm Silas.

(Y/n): My name is (Y/n).'s a plea-

You got interrupted by a voice saying:

Kaze: There you are, M'lady! I thought I'd lost you.

(Y/n): Oh, Kaze, I apologize for running off like that. I just heard this gentleman yell for help, and I didn't think my body had just moved.

Kaze: I understand, M'lady.

Silas: 'M'lady'? Are you, in fact, royal (Y/n)?

You simply nod at his words.

(Y/n): I am, but we must get going.

You turned your body away from his. You turned your head, and looked at the young knight. You smile sweetly.

(Y/n): It was a pleasure to meet you, Silas.
