You see here's the thing

Falling off a building is easy

Cooking a meal isn't

So when they asked me to try and assist in the kitchen I almost ended up burning down the whole room plus one half of the safehouse we were currently in. Then Ekko had the audacity to look at me like it was my fault

"Stop looking at me like that" I snapped and crossed my arms as I glared at his stupid face "You were the one who asked me to help"

"And you said you know how to took"

"I said I had an idea, not that I knew mister genius"

He sighed and put his hand over his face "What have I gotten myself into"

All fun and games right?

Not damn close

"We are almost there" I heard Ekko echo as we decended down the narrow place. The firelights kept going around each other, like a dance. It really made me love them that much more

But I couldn't shake off the feeling of somebody following us and yet when I looked back, all I could see was the sparkly mist

"I hate this place" I mumbled and grabbed my dagger tighter. I swear if this shit slipped trough my palm like in one of those horror stories I would officially give away my unofficial fighting license for good

Vi had been quiet the whole time, lost. I could see it in her movement, the way her head dripped ever so slightly. My question seemed to break her out of her trance for a moment as she smirked and looked at me "Don't worry I will hold your hand"

I looked back and gave her a tight smile "Wow I'm so much better. Thank you Vi you truly are an angel"

Caitlyn rolled her eyes and looked behind us "Do you guys feel like we are being watched?"

I snapped my fingers and grinned "That's what I've been saying for the past half an hour!" How it came out both as a yell and a whisper was probably due to the way this place was build. It kind of made your voice loom, like an echo which did nothing to soothe the anxiety that was slowly bubbling up inside of me

Ekko turned around and gestured for us to go forward "Come on, we don't have all day. We have to return the stone before someone tries to steal it again"

I looked at where Cait had stashed it, a small pocked inside her bag that she still somehow possessed after all the crazy shit that had happened this week "When will someone not try to steal it?"

"Good question" Vi called out and put her hands in the pockets of her jacket

We walked the rest of the way in silence, pinky over there already back in her slumber. I wanted to know what she was thinking, I wanted to help. Could it be something about Vander? Silco? Hell or even Sevika? Or Jinx? Cait?

For once I stayed silent as well, not wanting to be the first to break the silence. Everyone seemed to be in the same state as her

As we finally saw the narrow bridge ahead I couldn't help but feel a little bit of releaf. Soon this thing would be over, once and for all

But then Violet stopped. We all turned around, each with our own frown

"Vi?"

She didn't look up, her voice low as she spoke "I can't leave her again"

Ekko didn't move. Caitlyn kept staring at her, her eyebrows slightly furrowed in concentration. Meanwhile I just barely shook my head in a silent plea, not entirely sure if my voice would even be heard
