He clossed his eye as the sky turned more blue,he was bored,he sighed,this is what he gets for relying on technology doesn't he?

A squeak made him turn his head quickly,tentacles tense only to untense as he saw that it was just Nightmare,the white skeleton hid behind the tree he was snuggled up to earlier,peeking out slightly to stare at him.

Shattered slowly got up and walked over,stopping just about three feet from the smaller.

"Hello..are you named Nightmare by any chance?"he said in a calm voice,Nightmare nodded.

"Well Nightmare,my name is Shattered Dream,although i would like to be called Shattered if you can do that for me"Nightmare walked up to him,stopping right infront of him.

"Are you,okay?"he said pointing at the goop with golden highlights,Shattered chuckled"yes i am,it's just how my body is"

Nightmare nodded before looking at the tree,one side had golden apples while the other had black apples.

"Um,the voice said that we need to protect this tree,apparently it's called the tree of feelings"

Shattered hummed"how about i protect the black ones while you protect the golden ones?"Nightmare blinked up at him.

"B-But with my name..it would mean i get the black ones,right?"

"Well do you want the black ones my Star?"Nightmare blushed and looked down at the nickname Shattered gave him"N-No.."

"Then i get them"Shattered raised his hand and started petting Nightmares skull,the skeleton jumped slightly before relaxing.

'You are not getting bullied'Shattered thought while growling in his mind...
