Floating, weightlessly through a pitch black space. I guess I passed out from shock of taking in all of this. First, I'm kidnapped into some kind of, lab? Secondly, they took my goddamn eyes! Thirdly, I discover literal fucking rotten corpses. Lastly, they took me away from the only person I had somewhat trust in and brought me back to a place where they removed my eyes! I need to find a way out, soon. I need to find subject 239- Wait, I don't even know his name! This might be quite difficult but I need to use my hope before it runs out. What if they take more away from me? It makes me sick thinking out it. So many questions, but oh so little answers. I need to come up with a plan. I finally awake from my consciousness. I groan at a lingering pain in my arm I feel my arm where the pain is but there is a cuff? I check my other arm and notice there is also one there. They aren't linked or anything but why are the they there? "Hello?" I say with my shaky voice. I hear a chuckle nearby. "Hi." I hear a mans voice say back from the other side of the room. "Who are you?" I question "Hmm, should I really tell you that?" He responds. "I mean it would be nice to know who ever is in this room with me. Are you a guard or a subject at least tell me that." I say. "Aww, your no fun. I'm subject 182." I stand up and cautiously walk along the wall trying to figure out the room layout. "What are you doing?" "What does it look like I'm doing?" I say sharply. "Uh, walking along the wall?" He huffs in a agitated tone. "I cant see." I mumble. "Oh, I thought you where just weird." He chuckles to himself. What a jerk. I finally find a door nob and try to open it, which of course, its locked. "You really thought they would leave the door unlocked?" I jump at the voice in my ear. "What the fuck!" I say and turn to face where his voice was. "What? I'm just having fun, I haven't had another roommate since what happened to the last person. "What do you mean 'since what happened to the last person'!" He chuckles. "You really want to know, little bat?" He says intimidatingly. I cross my arms and try to act bigger. "Yeah! Also why'd you call me little bat!" I huff. "Heh, I'm not gonna tell you, also bats are blind so it fits you perfectly." I gasp at the rude comment. "Don't call me that you asshole!" "Woah, hey, calm down little bat don't get your panties in a twist." He is seriously pissing me off. I push him and run my hand against the wall to find a corner. I find one and sit in it. He tries talking to me but I ignore him until he finally just stops talking all together. To be honest, as much as an asshole that he is, it was kind of nice knowing someone was in here that I could talk too. After awhile of just sitting there thinking I hear the door unlock and open. "Subject 238, please come with me." A female voice says, her voice was quite calming and I understood I could get hurt again so I followed her instructions. As I began walking down the hall I heard the shuffling of, which I could only assume was, guards behind me. After a bit of walking we stopped and I heard a door in front of me open. The lady led me into a room. "Subject 238, please sit in the chair behind you." I turned around and felt the chair she was talking about and sat in it. The chair felt like leather and the room was warm. The air tasted and smelt clean like it was recently taken care of. "You may call me Mrs. L and I will be checking up on you while they test you for things every week." I started to sweat and panic. "Don't worry they wont remove anything else from you." It made me feel a little better. "Why am I here." I say demanding a answer seeming as she would probably be the only friendly person here that would give me an answer to my questions. "I do not have access of that information so I cannot provide proper an answer." I hear her grab something and walk towards me. I flinch as she puts something on my face. "Can you see anything?" She ask. "No." I hear her mumble something under her breathe. She takes the object off my face and walks over to where she previously was. After a few more of her putting something on my face and getting the same results. She sticks something in my arm and I flinch. She puts another thing of my face and suddenly I'm blinded by light. I shriek. She quickly grabs something and injects it into my arm. My vision becomes clearer and clearer until I can finally see once again. I feel my face but realize she put a mask on it. "Can you see?" She ask. "Yes, yes I can." The room is a tan color with vibrant paintings hanging on the wall and doctors equipment on a big metal tray on my right, there is also a black desk with neatly stacked papers and a laptop on top of it. Mrs. L has dark earthy brown eyes, straight, long, chocolate, brown, hair that is in a perfectly neat ponytail, and is wearing a white lab coat with black pants. Mrs. L smiles proudly. "It worked!" She ask me a few more questions that a doctor would ask and eventually brought me back to my room. I didn't want her to leave, she was very friendly and the only one that actually answered me, but I knew she had to leave for now and I didn't want to get in hurt again. I walked back into my room and heard the door lock behind me. I scanned the dark room and what I saw terrified me, my roommate.
