"𝐇𝐄𝐘 𝐌𝐎𝐌." Missie smiled as she walked into the living room.
"Hi sweetie." Sheila smiled as she looked up from her book, and noticed the bright smile on her daughter's face. "You look happy. What are you all smiley about?"
"Oh nothing in particular, except I have a date tonight." Missie smiled
"Oh? With who?" Sheila smiled as she set her book down and took off her reading glasses
"Johnny." Missie smiled
"Oh, you mean the cute boy who wouldn't stop hugging you that day we met your father for dinner at the restaurant?" Sheila smiled. "I'm so happy for you honey."
"Thanks mom." Missie blushed
Missie walked to her room to get ready, but she wasn't sure where Johnny had in mind to go, so she decided to play it safe and put on a nice blouse, jeans, headband, and converse shoes. For her makeup, she put on a little bit of light brown eye shadow and some cherry flavored lip balm that ali gave to her. She spritzed on some perfume and walked out the bedroom door
As Missiewalked down the stairs, and into the foyer, the doorbell rang, indicating that Johnny had arrived. She opened the door to reveal Johnny wearing his red Cobra Kai jacket, his jeans, a nice shirt underneath, as well as converse shoes.
Missie smiled brightly, as her eyes twinkled. "Hi."
"Hi princess." Johnny smiled. "You look beautiful."
"Oh, thank you." Missie smiled. "Please, come in."
"Thanks." Johnny said, as he walked into the foyer and Missie closed the door
As Missie grabbed her sweater, Sheila entered the foyer. Missie turned and smiled at her mother, while Johnny smiled at the older brunette respectfully, yet nervously, something Sheila picked up on, and gave him a kind smile, which was identical to her daughter's.
"Hi, I'm Sheila, Missie's mother. You must be Johnny." Sheila smiled as she extended her hand for a handshake.
Johnny extended his hand, and shook the older brunette's hand. "Hi. Mrs. Gray. Yes, I'm Johnny. It's a pleasure to meet you. I'll keep her safe."
"I know you will sweetie." Sheila smiled. "Both of you have a good time."
"Bye mom. I'll see you later." Missie smiled
"Goodnight Mrs. Gray." Johnny said
"Goodnight you two." Sheila smiled, as the two teens walked out the door
"Would you like to go to a walk in movie, or a drive in?" Johnny asked, as the two walked down the steps.
"Drive in." Missie said. "There's a new Robby Benson movie showing called Harry and Son, but I can watch that with the girls. You wanna watch Footloose?"
