I ran.

No one wants me..

I never thought I would be the one to take away my own life..

Jai's POV

"Jai, wake up!" 

Voices of my brothers filled my head. I unwillingly got up.

"JAI! COME ON! WE NEED TO GO!" Beau shouted chucking clothes at me. I slowly started to change into them, half asleep.

"Where are we going?" I mumbled. "What's going on?"

There was a moment of silence before I asked the question again.

"Skylar's missing."

"Where else could she be?" I shouted in frustration.

We've checked everywhere, asked everyone and no one has seen her since lunch. She didn't attend any of her lessons after lunch- so she must have ran off then.

My phone rang, I quickly answered it in hope that it was Skylar.

"Hey Babe," Tiffany said through the phone. I sighed in disappointment. "Well, it's great to talk to you too babe!"

"Sorry, it's not that... Skylar's missing, no one's seen her since lunch yesterday. Have you seen her? I'm running around going out of my mind looking for-"

"Skylar? As in Skylar Edwards? Since when did you care about her? Didn't you like ditch her a month ago?!" Tiffany started to go on about what happened between me and Skye.

She was right.

I did leave her. I wasn't there when she got bullied, when her parents started to argue, when she lost the will to eat anything...

"Jai, hello?!" Tiffany shouted.

"What?" I asked annoyed. 

"Excuse me, is THAT how you talk to YOUR GIRLFRIEND?!" she screamed through the phone.

"Fucking hell, just shut up for once, Tiffany! I need to find Skylar."

"JAI! DON'T HANG UP ON ME- ESPECIALLY BECAUSE OF HER! WHAT ABOUT OUR DATE TODAY? I GOT NEW VICTORIA'S SECRET JUST FOR-" And with a touch of a button her voice was gone. I could finally relax without her breathing down my back every five seconds.

I tried to call Skylar, no answer. I kicked the fence next to me in frustration.

My phone rang, I answered it before looking at the caller id, "Hello," I spoke urgently wanting to hear that sweet voice of hers once more. 

"Any luck?" Luke asked. 

I sighed, "No, you?" I knew the answer already. 

"No. Well it's getting late, Beau's and I are heading home; you should too."

"No! I'm not sleeping, eating or giving up until I find her!" I protested as I clenched my hands into fists.

 "Jai, we can look tomorrow-"

"Luke, I said no. I- I just need to know she's okay, that she's safe," my voice broke as tears filled my eyes. 

"Okay, I understand. Just get some rest too, yeah?" Luke softly spoke.
