"So," said Osano, upon reaching his house, "uhm, welcome home? I don't know, I've only ever had Raibaru over and he just walks in, even when I don't want him here."

"That sounds like a burden."

"Well, not really, he's actually super cool! And, well, there's worse people to have burst in my house unexpectedly. I mean, robbers would suck, and murderers too, but that's obvious." He says while opening the door.

"...Yes, quite."

"I have some other friends who like to burst into my room, like, bedroom. It's sooooooooo embarrassing!" Osano said exasperated, dragging his hands over his eyes.

The two walk into the living room, and set their stuff down. Osano immediately goes towards the kitchen after grabbing his dirty bento boxes.

Ayato just asked out of politeness if he wanted help, Ayato didn't actually want to help but was surprisingly, feeling disappointed, when Osano asked for help.

"But some people I used to be really good friends with, they are the ones who burst into my room. Good lord I hate when they do that, I used to go up to their house and go 'you always keep me waiting!' as if I didn't come up at the crack of dawn. Man, I was kind of an asshole. Huh."

"Are you still friends with them?" Ayato asked in Osano's slight pause.

"Yeah, they come over for dinner and stuff, but not as often as they used to. Taeko, that's the sister, and her brother, Taro, are so busy taking care of their little brother, because their parents aren't home as much as they used to be, so the twins have it kinda hard. I want them to come over more, because they cant cook for crap! I'm worried about how they eat." Right after Osano said that, he smacked himself in the head in embarrassment.

"Sorry, that sounded kinda weak, huh?" He said, as he went back to scrubbing.

"No," Ayato disagreed, "I think it's...nice..that you care about your...friends. It sounds like you care a lot."

"Of course! They were my best friends, and childhood friends at that! I miss them."

After Osano poured his heart out, the door opened to reveal his younger sister, in tow with three black haired people in school uniforms. Two of them looked like Akademi High School uniforms, but the other boy was dressed in a middle school uniform, just like Osano's sister.

"Big Brotherrrrr! I brought home visiterrrss!!" His sister yelled.

"Osana! Why didn't you tell me they were gonna come over! I had a...a friend over too!" Osano said, looking back at Ayato as he stumbled on the word 'friend'.

"But you've been saying that you wanted Taro-nii and Taeko-nee to come over!!" Osana rebutted.

"Well, yeah! But not right now! No offense."

"None taken." The boy in the Akademi uniform said blankly.

"But, but! I wanted Hanako to come too! Just because your boyfriend is over-"

"HES NOT MY BOYFRIEND!" Osano was terribly red in the face, most likely in embarrassment and horror. "OH MY GOD OSANA YOU CANT JUST SAY THAT!"

"THEN WHY CANT I HAVE FRIENDS OVER!" The orange haired girl in pigtails that reached the floor yelled right back. The three in tow behind the young girl looked used to this.

"BECAUSE!! I JUST SAID SO!"

"YOURE SUCH A DUMMY!!"

"WHATEVER! Just, just oh my god. Hey guys, how are you doing?" Osano desperately tried to fix this situation.

"Uhm, we're good...y'know? Uh, we can leave-"

"Nonono it's okay! Uh, me and Ayato were just about to get ready! So, just sit down and, I need Osana for a second!" He said as he grabbed his little sister and snatched her out of the room.

Quiet arguing was heard through the walls, and the four left in the kitchen stood awkwardly.

"Soooo....what grade are you in?"

"Second year." Ayato said blankly, not enough energy to fix his voice.

"Ah, we're both Third years. We're twins, I'm Taro, and this is Taeko! And this sweet one is Hanako, he's in middle school."

"Nice to meet ya!" She said sweetly.

"Hello!" Said the little Hanako.

"Ayato. I don't have any siblings." He said monotonously.

"Awe, well you're missing out!" Said Taeko.

Ayato thinks, with his Mother and Dad being absent, having to take care of a younger sibling as well as himself would not be something he would appreciate. At least, he doesn't think he would.

"I guess so." He lies, and puts on a fake smile.

The two orange-heads walk in, Osano looking tired, and Osana looking pissed off.

"Welp. We should get started on dinner!"

Dinner went much smoother than the time before it, Osano and Osana had worked together to make the main meal, and Ayato was begrudgingly brought into making a couple side dishes.

All in all, it tasted delicious and all six ate well. As Ayato was walking towards the door, Osano walked him out, looking timid.

"So uh, I'm sure you wouldn't ever want to come over again."

He was right.

"Oh, it wasn't terrible." Yes it was.

"Really?! Well, do you want to do this again some time? Without my sister and friends!!"

"I'll think about it. Goodnight Osano." Ayato said, drenched in the pale moonlight, making his paper white skin glow in the darkness.

"Yeah," he said breathless, "Goodnight...Ayato.."
