Dani called Gigi while she was with her kids on Saturday and Gigi ignored her. She didn't want Eli and Olive to hear anything from the conversation.
Gigi rejecting her call made Dani sad. It also was effective in sending Dani into a spiral. She was checking her phone every few minutes and thinking the wildest thoughts.
Finally, she couldn't take it anymore. Dani got dressed, grabbed her keys, and opened the door. Gigi was waiting to knock on the other side.
There was no exchange of words as they passionately connected their lips. Words are hard but this ... this is easy.
Dani putting Gigi on her bed and taking off her shirt. Hearing Gigi laugh as Dani wiggles out of her pants. The kissing. Gigi rolling them over and pinning Dani to the bed. Dani watching Gigi take off her shirt while keeping her hands on Gigi's thighs. Leaning up to kiss her eagerly and Gigi pushing her back on the bed.
Gigi using the swapped saliva to moisten her fingers so she can easily slide them inside of Dani. Gigi getting turned on by watching Dani react.
By the morning, not a word had been exchanged. Not even pass the salt at breakfast. To say it was quiet morning was an understatement but neither of them seemed to mind it. Other than the lack of communication, they had a pretty good morning.
Sex in the shower, making breakfast together, eating breakfast, and cleaning up. They don't even say goodbye when Gigi leaves to go be with her kids. They kiss and then Gigi leaves while Dani watches her leave to the elevator.
The world was mute until Gigi stepped outside where the city sounds bring her back to reality.
It was late when Dani went over to Gigi's for dinner. The quietness had stayed with them for most of night until Gigi finally broke it. Shattered it would be the more appropriate word to use.
Dani was sitting on the couch wearing her hoodie with the hood on, her hair in the most lazy of buns, reading one of books Gigi had lying on coffee table. Gigi brought her over some tea and set it down. Then she sat next to Dani.
"Are you okay?" Gigi asked. "Yeah." Dani answered. "Why?" She put the book aside. "You've just been really quiet is all." Gigi said. "I just don't have anything to say." Dani replied calmly. "Last night and this morning was just strange for me."
"I enjoyed a quiet morning with you and last night was amazing." Dani told her. "So you're saying I talk too much?" Gigi joked. "That's not at all what I said." Dani replied. "Come here." Gigi said and Dani kissed her.
"I love you." The words fall off of Gigi's tongue so peacefully. It's such a natural sentence for her to say. Smooth like velvet and spoken with care.
Dani tackles Gigi on the couch and buries her face into the side on Gigi's neck. Gigi can feel Dani blushing and a light chuckle escapes her.
