Dani and Gigi stood in Gigi's apartment. It was a little after midnight and Gigi had just been woken up by an apologetic Dani.
"Do what anymore?" Dani asked a little heartbroken by Gigi's previous sentence. "I have been patient and honest with you because I know what you have been through but I can't keep hitting a brick wall and expecting it to move."
"So, you want to break up?" Dani asked. "No." Gigi answered. "Then what do you want?"
"I want to know how you feel." Gigi asked. "Hurt because I upset so much that you would consider not being with me anymore. Sad because I don't want you to leave me. Angry because what the fuck. Confused because I love you and I want what's best for you even if it means not seeing me anymore."
Gigi can see the panic in Dani's eyes. She hugs Dani, who immediately responds by hugging her back. "Don't leave." Dani said. "Okay." Gigi replied softly as she nuzzled her face into Dani's neck.
"It's so late." Gigi said. "It's very early." Dani replied. "Let's go to bed." Gigi said. Dani and Gigi climbed into bed. Dani holds Gigi close to her like a child would hold their favorite teddy bear.
Dani is the first to wake up and she watches Gigi sleep. Gigi cracks her eyes open and sees Dani. "شما خیلی عجیب لعنتی." (You're so fucking weird.) Gigi says. Dani smiles and laughs lightly a little. "What are you thinking about?"
"You terrify me." Dani answered. "I just woke up." Gigi replied. "No. I mean..." Dani started fidgeting with her hand. "How I feel about you scares me. I thought I loved Sophie and when she did what she did I was hurt but last night I felt actual pain."
"I'm sorry." Gigi apologized. "I'm sorry. I was scared so I ran but I don't want to run from you anymore." Dani said. Gigi can't help but smile at Dani. "I love you Golnar Ghorbani."
"I love you Daniella Nuñez." Gigi responded. They kissed.
