[TWENTY] (Long Ass Chapter)

(Time 3:15 p.m. Wednesday Still)

Dr. Sarah Evans Pearce's (POV)

"I got you baby Bird, Mommy's got you," I coo as I rock our girl to calm her down. Margaret has left us in the room to send all the information we've just learned to Olly, we didn't want to waste any time.

Aubrey's crying and tugging at my shirt like earlier, so I decide to take my shirt off again. It seemed to work before, so it's worth a try now.

Needing to move her away from my body for a second I lay her in my lap, but clearly that was the wrong move as it only makes her cry harder. Moving as quickly as I can I remove my shirt then pull her back against my chest, holding her against me.

After a few minutes she's still crying uncontrollably, her face is red and puffy and her face is soaked in her tears. She's so worked up that her breaths have become shallow and I know if I don't calm her down she'll cause herself to pass out.

I look at Margaret as soon as she walks back into the room, looking just as worried as I am. "She's so upset she slipped, but this isn't working like before!"

Even though she's worried, she keeps her calm and thinks for a moment before responding. "Try full skin to skin baby. Pass her to me quickly while you take your bra off."

She takes Aubrey, who immediately starts screaming and reaching for me. Margaret quickly strips her of her clothes, leaving her just in her diaper while I take my bra off. Once we're both ready she hands Aubrey back to me. The moment our baby is laying fully against me she calms down, sniffling and gripping my hair. I let out a relieved sigh, still rocking her and kissing her head.

Looking back at my wife I smile, shaking my head. "So smart, baby."

She chuckles and shrugs. "Just from watching Olly and Grace, love."

"Did you get everything emailed to them?" she nods, smiling slightly before rubbing her neck.

"I can't believe she had all of this information about the stalker. Not that I blame her, she thought it had stopped, but I hate that someone is doing this to her. At least we have more information than before though. Did she say anything else after I left?"

Shaking my head, I kiss a now sniffling baby. "She just kept getting more and more upset, crying her eyes out, her little body shaking and I couldn't get her to calm down, that's when she slipped fully."

She nods, reaching over and rubbing Aubrey's back before kissing her head. "We'll talk with her more later. I also went ahead and told Amelia and Gabby, they weren't happy, but they understood. They said that they should be able to come back again before the first of December as well, so that's some good news."

I nod again and look down at our girl's warm and sweaty head. "Can you get a washcloth for me baby? She's all warm and sweaty from her panic attack."

My wife cleans up the mess around us and brings a warm washcloth back, cleaning our girl as she clings to me. I adjust her into a cradle as I look for her paci and I frown, looking up at Margaret when I can't find it.

"Babe, did you see her paci when you were cleaning?"

She purses her lips, just as I squeal and jump at the feeling of lips on my right nipple. We both look down and I blush, seeing our girl sucking my nipple into her mouth and happily settling into a rhythm of suckling.

"Definitely loves her Mommy's boobs," my wife gets out in between her laughter.

"You're just jealous you haven't gotten them in a while," I growl, but I'm smirking so she knows I'm only teasing. A little frustrated tug on my nipple causes me to gasp a little at the pressure, but I smile at our baby.
