"Love."
I looked at my door as I saw my Mom. I immediately put my last earring as she smiled at me and walked towards me. I tiled my head saka kinunot ang noong nakatingin sa salamin.
"Ma?" I looked at her in the mirror. She just looked at her side then shook her head. "It's.. it's nothing, love." she massaged lightly my shoulders as she put her cheek to my cheek. "Look at you! You have grown as a fine lady!"
"Ma, I just turned sixteen, please." we both chuckled as I prepared my bag since she told me that we will be having dinner with her friend's family.
"Ready to— oh my." Mom and I looked at Dad as he was admiring us both. "Ready to go?"
"Sila Kuya po?" I asked as I looked at myself in the mirror, checking if I have missed something. "Oh, your two Elder Brothers can't go, but the other one will," I smiled as I heard.
"Really though?" I chuckled. "I wonder who it might be?"
"Let's go? They might be waiting for us, "
I nodded as we went outside of our house, technically, a mansion. As far as I can remember I used to play with my three elder brothers when I was a little, but now, they have ruling the entire business world since they are really doing their best to be on top.
Gusto nilang ma-proud sila Dad. Well, kahit naman anong gawin nila, sobrang proud na sila Mama. I like how they are responsible in every decisions they made and I am inspired to do it as well. They always saying that, "obey Mom and Dad, it's for the best."
However, I knew in my heart that they have plans to my future and my career, and I didn't want to talk about it first. But I remember this last time when Mom asked me what would I take in my college. Well, of course I answered safely.
"I don't know it yet."
She asked me, "Why?" and I just shrugged.
Mom was nagging me already to decide on which path will I take since she told me that when she asked my brothers they answered, "Business,"
Sila Kuya kasi yon, they were driven. Gusto nila, eh ako? Wala pa akong maisip. So, I guess, they are expecting me to say it as well, but I knew in my heart that I don't.. wike it. "So maybe, I need to decide already, I don't want Mom to nag at me again." I sighed as I thought.
"Kuya, anong sa tingin mo?"
"I don't know ask Kuya," I rolled my eyes as I looked at my Eldest Brother, Draco. "Kuya,"
"I don't know, Night," he shook his head. "Ano bang gusto mong itake?" I looked at him and my other brother, Daniel, and I looked down. "I really don't have in my mind right now, Kuya,"
