Binalik ni David ang pagkakahawak sa akin right after nya kumain. Since he saw me like that earlier he never left my side. "You okay now?" he whispered.
I smiled as I nodded. "Yes, thank you." he held me closer. "What happened?"
Umiling ako saka uminom ng tubig. Hindi pa.. h'wag ngayon. "So who's your date in the ball? Is it Gian?" Dad asked while looking at me then at David.
"No, Daddy." I looked at him. "Hindi na po nag-aaral si Gian sa school na pinapasukan ko ngayon."
"Sino? Did I know this man?" he clasped his fingers as he looked at me with siren eyes. "Yes.."
"Si Ced po."
"Ced?" he furrowed his brows as he looked at me. "Oh, yes. Yes I know him." Dad chuckled as he looked at me again.
"Kung pwedeng outsider, sana si David ang date mo," he sighed. "We can talk to her profs naman, love." Mom suggested.
David smiled as I looked at him. "Oh no.. it's.. it's fine Tito. Don't worry."
"Sis, anong susuotin mo? Can I see?" I shook my head saka ngumiti sa kanya. "Don't ruin the moment."
The days past like a flash and the ball will be held tomorrow. Hindi na makahintay halos lahat ng seniors since the faculty said that the guest is a man. Edi ang topic nang karamihan ngayon ay kung sino, may nag-bet pa nga kung sino ang magiging guest.
"Are you hoping that Lorenzo will be the guest?" our classmates are talking about how nice he is in person since nakita nya nga raw kahapon si Lorenzo sa mall.. he had taping kasi. I thought vacation nya? Bakit may taping sya? Baka endorsement?
I don't know.
"Is David will be the guest?" I shrugged at Ced. "Wala naman syang nabanggit."
"Ah so nag-uusap na kayo?" I chuckled as I took off my phone. "Yeah, more than the usual."
"Wow, improvement yorn?" napalingon ako kay Andrea. "Parang nung nakaraan lang magkaholding hands kayo sa kotse."
"Punyeta, isigaw mo pa!"
"Sana all."
I looked at Cedric saka ngumiti. "I saw you yesterday with your ex-girlfriend?" Kinunutan nya lang ako ng noo saka ako lalong ngumiti sa kanya. "I don't mind if sya na yung magiging date mo. I'll support you with your karupukan."
"No!" napatingin ako sa kanya sa gulat tsaka nya ako tinap yung noo ko nang dalawa nyang daliri saglit. "I mean.. no.. may ka-date syang iba.. after ng ball sabay kami.. uuwi."
