Tess' P.O.V

I looked outside the window and sighed as heavy rain pounded against the glass. I was bored stiff and I had absolutely nothing to do. I looked over at the movie stand next to my TV and decided against watching a film knowing it'd just bore me to tears.

I picked up my phone from next to me and dialled the familiar phone number. Hope filled me as it started to ring.

"Hey Tess" Harry's husky voice filled my ears. I smiled a little at the sound of his voice. Me and Harry had known each other for 6 years and recently I had been feeling something a little more towards him. I didn't want to feel it, trust me, it'd ruin our friendship and he wouldn't feel the same way anyway.

"Hey Haz, are you free?" I asked, biting my lip.

"Yep, you wanna come round?"

"Sure, I'll be round in a bit"

"Okay great! See you in a bit" I could hear the smile in his voice and I hoped that he was as eager to see me as I was to see him.

I quickly slipped my TOMS on and left the house, locking the door behind me.

Butterflies hatched in my stomach as Harry's flat came into view. I parked on his assigned driveway and made my way up to his door. I knocked on the door and waited for him to answer. I heard shuffling from behind the door and it was soon being swung open. Haz stood there with a grin on his face.

"Tess!" He cheered with outstretched arms.

"Haz!" I hugged him and took in the familiar scent. Just being in his arms made me feel safe.

We pulled away and he let me in, shutting the door behind him. We talked as we made our way into his kitchen and sat down at the high stools around the kitchen island.

"So, bored were we?" Harry asked with a dimply smile.

"Just a bit. Stupid British weather" I mumbled with a sigh. He chuckled and got up, making his way over to the kettle. He flipped the switch, put tea bags in two cups and sat back down again, waiting for the kettle to boil.

"So, any guys I need to warn off?" He asked with a smirk. I laughed a little and looked down.

"Nope" I sighed and inspected my nails.

"You'll find someone. Who knows, maybe you've already met him?" Oh Harry, if only you knew.

"Yeah, maybe I have" I sent him a quick smile before looking down again. I felt him leave the island and heard him pouring water into the mugs. I heard a clunk and looked up to see he had placed a cup of tea in front of me.

"Thank you" I smiled at him.

"Anytime, you know you'll talk in your sleep if you don't have one" He sent me another smirk. I slapped his arm across the table and narrowed my eyes at him. He just laughed.

"You can't deny it though. Last time you stayed round you were mumbling about mango's" He quirked an eyebrow. I rolled my eyes and took a sip of my tea.

Once we finished our tea we decided to make a cake, seen as we had nothing better to do.

We were half way through making it and just as I was about to turn on the electric whisk to whisk the mixture, I felt something crack on my head. Soon liquid glooped down my face and I knew what had happened. I picked up the bag of flour from next to me and turned around.

Harry was trying to stifle a laugh but he soon stopped after he saw the smirk that was playing at my lips. I tipped the whole bag of flour on his head and gave him a satisfied smile.

"Your so in for it" He said evilly through gritted teeth. He grabbed the whipped cream can, that we were going to use as decoration for the cake, and squirted it in a spiral on top of my head. I grabbed the tub of strawberries from the counter behind me and took a handful. I smeared them all over his face and laughed as pieces of smooshed strawberry slid down his face and onto the floor.

I saw him grab the bag of icing sugar and I quickly ran away from him, Harry hot on my heels.

I ran into the living room, grabbed three apples out of the bowl that was sitting on the coffee table as I ran past, and quickly ran back to the kitchen with Harry still chasing me. I turned around to see how close he was.

Big mistake.

As I turned around, I got a face full of icing sugar. I heard Harry laugh but he was soon being cut short when  threw an apple at him. I giggled at his expression and winked at him as he gave me an evil look.

He started to chase me again. I giggled helplessly and as I was about to grab the food colouring off of the counter but was stopped when the floor started coming towards me. I landed on my stomach and started laughing even harder. I heard Harry laughing along as I turned over on my back. I was soon winded by a heavy weight on my stomach which made me cough and laugh at the same time.

Harry was on top of me laughing so hard a tear fell from his eye.

"What did we even slip on?" I asked in between giggles.

"One of the smeared strawberries" He steadied his breath with a grin still on his face. Then I realised what position we were in.

Harry placed his hands either side of my head to take some of his weight off of me, oxygen returning to my lungs as he did so.

We stared into each others eyes for a minute, not sure was was supposed to happen next. But what did happen was completely unexpected. Harry leaned in, and I followed the gesture.

Soon our eyes had fluttered shut and our lips had locked. Fireworks and electricity coursed through me as I wrapped my arms around Harry's neck.

"Looks like you owe me 50 Malik" An Irish accent said from the door way. Me and Harry pulled apart and looked to see Zayn and Niall standing with smirks on their faces.

"Fine" Zayn reluctantly pulled out a fifty pound note from his wallet and handed it over to Niall, who took it gladly.

"You two were betting on us?" Harry asked with a quirked eyebrow.

"We get bored" Niall shrugged. They both walked out of sight, leaving me and Harry alone again. Harry turned down to face me again and we both laughed slightly.

Well that was more than I came over for?
