Billie was on my mind long after our interview ended. As I delved deeper into her story, I couldn't help but be intrigued by her enigmatic personality. Despite her intimidating aura, I found myself drawn to her in a way that I couldn't quite explain. And then, there was that one thing she said that left me completely dumbfounded. "I am a god," she declared with a straight face. What did she mean by that? The more I thought about it, the more I wanted to know. As I finished her report I made sure to make a copy, when I was done with all of Billie's files, I packed up and prepared to leave for the day. Walking down the hall, I noticed the absence of anyone except the night-shift staff. As I passed by Billie's room, I couldn't resist a quick peek inside, even though there were no guards present. However, the sight of her face appearing suddenly in the door window made me jump out of my skin. "Open the door," she demanded. "Billie you know I can't do that," I replied. Something changed in her demeanor, and she pleaded, "Please, Ms. Jackson, I need help with something." Her gaze was intense, and I felt a surge of empathy. I opened the door and walked inside. "What do you need, Billie?" I asked, staring at her with a mix of curiosity and fear. She smirked, her eyes glinting with mischief. "Oh, just you being a good girl and following my orders, Ms. Jackson," she said, stepping closer to me. I could feel her breath on my face, sending shivers down my spine. "Billie..." I whispered, but she silenced me by placing her finger on my lips. It was only then that I noticed she was out of her shackles. Panic set in as I realized the danger I was in. "You're going to help me get out of here," she said, her voice low and dangerous. "But I can't do that, Billie," I protested, my heart racing in my chest. "Oh, but you will," she replied, a wicked smile spreading across her face. "We'll continue our meetings and all that dumb shit, but I have some plans for the future and you will be the way out." I tried to protest, but she grabbed my cheeks and squeezed them tightly. "Now be a good girl and keep your mouth closed," she said before walking me out of her room, leaving me trembling with fear and uncertainty. With trembling hands, I closed her door and ran towards the exit. My heart was racing, and I could feel the adrenaline pumping through my veins as I made it to my car. "I can't believe this is happening," I mutter to myself as I quickly start my car and drive off. The rush of adrenaline is almost palpable as I speed down the empty streets. When I finally pull into my driveway, my heart is racing and my hands are shaking. Relief washes over me as I collect my things and head inside. Without a second thought, I head straight to the shower. Something about the hot water and the sound of it beating down on my skin is so comforting and familiar. It's almost as if I can wash away all the bullshit.
After finishing my shower, I take my time to dry myself off and get dressed. Once I'm done, I move on to a task that has become a daily ritual for me - laying out my clothes for the next day. Tomorrow is a special day because I'm meeting my best friend for coffee before work. I'm looking forward to our conversation, catching up on each other's lives, and sharing some laughs before we both head off to our respective jobs. It has been three weeks since we last saw each other, as both of us lead hectic lives. However, whenever we get some free time, we usually spend it together. Once my clothes were picked out and I seemed to have everything ready I got into bed, seeing as how long today had been I fell straight to sleep.

""OMG! I can't believe it's you bitch!" she screams as she rushes to give me a tight hug. "I've missed you so much!" I can feel the warmth of her embrace as I hug her back. We settle back into our seats, "Well, hello there, Mya! How have you been?" I inquire with a curious smile. Mya chuckles and replies, "Being a surgeon isn't as glamorous as it seems, but I can't complain. How about you?" I pause for a moment before responding, "I recently started working as the head therapist at a new mental hospital, and things have been really interesting so far." Mya raises an eyebrow, intrigued, "Oh? Do tell." I smile, "Well, my newest patient is quite peculiar. I've never seen anything like it before. But I'm up for the challenge. It's all part of the job, right?" "Tell me about them," she says being her nosy self.

After an hour of talking, we said our goodbyes. "Given what you've told me about that patient, you need to be extremely cautious, okay?" Mya said, looking directly into my eyes. "I promise I will. I love you. Call me later," I replied. "I love you too, and I will," she said before getting into her car and driving off. I did the same.
