----Chapter 1---- (Thursday: 7:00am)
-Beep Beep Beep Beep Beep Beep-
My alarm rang out, I groaned and lazily swung my arm round and pressed the 'snooze' button to make the horrible noise stop. I could hear my Father crashing around downstairs, I had hoped he would be at work by the time I got up, but I've had no luck.
I slowly got up out of bed and wandered off into the bathroom. I had a wash, put on some makeup and put my long blond hair into a side plait. I got out my second hand school uniform from my wardrobe and pulled it on. I laid down on my bed and closed my eyes to try and gain some strength to go downstairs and face him. Moving to this new school won't bother me as much because i'm used to it now, it just feels normal. But to other people they think it's weird and as we have something to hide...
When I had finally arrived at school I was brought into my new classroom, as I wandered in everyone looked at me. I saw a few whispers being exchanged around the classroom with a few snuffled giggles and gestures.
'Immature little shits' I thought to myself while trying to catch their eye, once they looked up I gave them a dirty look to show I knew what they were doing.
The new teacher, Mrs Grubs I think her name was. She introduced me to the class and directed me to my seat at the back of the room, next to a boy called Liam.
He broke the silence first "Where have you come from then?" he closed his book and looked across at me with his kind brown eyes, he generally looked interested.
"Well it depends what you mean about where I come from... I was born in Canada but i've been all around the world then sort of ended up here I suppose" I said looking around the room trying not to be drawn into his eyes.
"Oh sounds interesting. So your a Canadian girl at heart then I see, where was you before you came here?" He carried on staring at me.
I couldn't help but glance at him "I came from London actually, so about 2 hours away" He nodded then got out his notebook from his bag and started scribbling something down.
I looked in the corner of my eye but couldn't see a thing. He looked at me, he could obviously sense me looking his way. I smiled warmly at him. He chuckled, the notebook gained his full attention once again as he carefully pulled the paper out.
"Whats your next lesson then?" He startled me, he looked at me while putting his notebook away.
"Er, Maths I think..why?"
"Oh good because I have maths next and I thought I could show you where it was?" He suggested
"Oh yes please! I am hopeless with big places and all these rooms are a bit overwhelming" He nodded his head while observing my face, I put my head down awkwardly and wrote the date down in my book.
When the bell went Liam picked up his bag carefully, placing his things inside before swinging it over his shoulder.
Liam waited for me to pack my things away then we started off on our walk to maths, the girls we passed in the corridors seemed to go all giggley when Liam passed them, they must like him... Liam didn't seem to notice at all though. We finally neared a stop outside a classroom door in the next building.
"Well I better leave you here then!" He smiled at me and patted my arm.
"I thought you were in my maths?" I asked confused.
"No i'm in a different maths, back in the building we were in before" He explained gesturing behind.
"What so you've walked me all this way and have to walk back! Your going to be so late! You really didn't need to Liam, but thank you" I warmly smiled trying to show how grateful I really was and went to turn around to enter the classroom.
Liam suddenly grabbed onto my arm and swung me round, he dug around in his pocket and then pulled out the piece of paper he had been writing on before.
"Read it when you get home" he said tapping on the piece of paper, he quickly smiled then whipped round and went off down the corridor, I watched the doors swinging behind him.
