IT'S ALWAYS BEEN YOU ~ Minsung

CHAPTER 2

'Minho' he flinches, he's dirty and wet, it's from the rain. 'I'm Jisung, do you remember me' he nods but goes back into his box fort 'do you know a doctor' I shake my head and look at him, he doesn't look ill or injured 'what's wrong' I ask. He moves aside so I can see into his shelter 'it's Nabi'

The baby is shaking and shivering 'she needs a hospital' I say putting my jacket over her ' I know' he shouts 'I can't afford it' he says more gently.

'Jisung' this is the moment I remember I was with Hyunjin 'I'm down here' I shout and I see his shadow before I see him 'why did you disappear' he is out of breath and looks worried before he sees my surroundings, that I'm fine.

'Hyunjin this is Minho and this is Nabi' he nods his head but looks hesitant to do anything 'Jisung we need to go' I shake my head 'she need to go to a hospital' Hyunjin looks at the girl and looks panicked 'how long has she been like this'd he asks Minho he shrugs 'a week maybe but I have no money for her to get treatment and I, I stop him 'I'll pay for it just please let us take her in' he nods, it's small but is a nod.

We sit in the waiting room 'Chan can you come to the hospital please' out of all my friends from high school, Chan semi kept in touch with Minho 'it's not me, it's Minho' there's silence for a second 'Minho as in Lee Minho' I nod before remembering he can't see me 'yeah it's his daughter'

Just a few minutes later Chan comes running through the doors 'oh my god Minho' is the first thing he says upon seeing the boy, he's sat on a chair and hasn't said anything since we got here 'are you alright, is Nabi' and before we know it Minho is crying, no sobbing and in between his sobs all I can make out is 'she's going to die' repeated like a mantra' Chan shakes his head and pulls Minho into a hug 'stay with me please' he offers and Minho nods before collapsing back onto the chair. All I do is stare thinking about all the what ifs.
