CHAPTER 5

Life is domestic, simply so, especially as Minho tries to get Nabi ready for school 'you'll be late' I shout from the kitchen 'I know he shout back' I laugh and make my way there 'come here you little rascal' she stops squirming 'your no fun papa' she says as she huffs 'maybe not but you little miss need to go to school' I respond as I finish putting her dress on 'have fun and be good' I stand up from my painful squat and smile at Minho who mouths a thank you.

'You are my saviour' he says as he walks into the kitchen hugging me from behind 'stop it' I say slapping my hand away. We both laugh. He grabs and apple and Nabi's hand and walks away while giving me a muffled goodbye.

Life has been good for me, it's amazing what pleasures trashed can bring. Me and Minho have been dating for 3 1/2 years and moved in with each other a few months ago. Life feels simple now, like this is how it's meant to be.

Chan still likes to mention that if it wasn't for his kindness and great hospitality there would be no Minsung, it's best just to ignore him before his ego makes him explode.

I look around the house before I to leave for work.

'I'll pick Nabi up' I say at the end of the phone call 'no I finish early today' I say again after he questions the logistic of my plan 'I'm literally leaving work now just left me do it' he hugs before saying fine and hanging up the phone. I know he's not mad he just doesn't like to lose to me.

When I get to her school she's playing on the grass 'Nabi baby' I say from a slight distance she comes running to me with her arms open 'papa' she says before she jumps into my awaiting arms, I lift her up and kiss her cheek 'how was school' she nods and gives me a daisy from the field 'I can't wait to tell you and daddy' I giggle at her and clear the mud of her nose.

'Min we're here' I know he's here because neither of the three cats greet me and there is the faint sound of Hotel Del Luna playing in the living room 'how was your day' he asks and kisses me quickly on the lips 'good, one of my works was given to a group I really wanted to produce for' he hugs me as a congratulations as he isn't very good with words.

'And what about you Nabi' she isn't listening to him and doesn't answer his question as she is too busy playing with some dolls, who are playing with a chemistry set. Turns out she is quite the scientist.

I start preparing dinner in the kitchen when Minho comes in 'I love you you know' he says as he snuggles into me, I stop what I'm doing and kiss the top of his head 'I love you to' he looks at me and smiles. Our lips join together in a longer kiss, full of innocent love we pull apart and in that moment I see my world, my whole world being lit by the setting sun behind him 'you know Lee Minho, no matter what it's always been you'
