he takes a deep breath before his phone buzzes.

minho sighs when he gets up and goes downstairs to get ready for the party.
the first few guests arrive, but none of the 7 of them yet.
he greets hello to them and sits down on the sofa going on his phone while trying to avoid as much social interaction as possible. (me)
minho's mom tries to get his attention but he ignores her.
"get off that damn phone now mister this is a party!" she looks around to make sure nobody was looking and she slaps him right across the face.
"what the hell!?"
"shut up and stop complaining! we're the fucking lee's for crying out loud now start interacting or I will take that phone away from you!" she walks away and acts like nothing happened while minho looks down and slouches on the sofa, trying not to let it show that he hates being in this comfortable life.
when he looks up he sees chan walk in.
"hey" chan walks up to him.
"hey"
"this is our first time meeting and you're not gonna hug me?" chan asks.
"right" minho hugs chan, he hugs back.
"your house is amazing" chan looks around. "but I can see why you don't like being rich"
"yeah" seungmin was the next to arrive.
"hi!" seungmin smiles and hugs minho and chan. "I can't believe we're meeting for the first time!"
"I know!" chan says.
"you two and changbin are the only sane ones" minho says. "I don't know if I want the others to come"
"speaking of insane" jisung and hyunjin come in together. just minho's luck.
"of course they had to come together" minho says.
"ayyyyy" jisung goes up to them and hugs them. "this is so awesomeeeee"
"pipe it down will you?"
"damn rich guys are so god damn hot" hyunjin says and minho hits his arm.
"stop it! both of you stop!" minho says.
"that's kinda hot" minho hits hyunjin again.
"will you ever shut up?" seungmin looks at hyunjin but then looks at jeongin who walked in.
"yayyyy!" the four let out, while minho stands there shaking his head.
"babyboy!" seungmin says and they all hug jeongin.
"two more to go!" jisung says.
and just like that, changbin comes in with felix behind.
"great here comes my parents" minho says as his mom and dad come over to the eight of them.
"hello, you must be minho's friends" his dad says and they all bow.
"nice to meet you both" chan shows a friendly smile and they smile back. "thank you for allowing us to come"
"well minho insisted you all come so we were curious to see what you were like" his mom says while minho looks at her to stop talking.
"he insisted?" jisung asks.
"oh yes, practically begged—"
"okay! both of you can go somewhere else now!" he pushes them away. "I'll see you later!"
"you like uuuusssss" hyunjin says and minho crosses his arms.
"don't get excited my parents over exaggerate about everything" minho sits down on the sofa. "you guys actually acted normal, I'm surprised"
"well if it's for you..." jisung mumbles under his breath.
"what did you say?" felix looks at jisung.
"ah nevermind"
"soooo do we really have to be at this boring party?" changbin asks.
"I wish not but my parents are already on the fence about you guys not being rich... me leaving the party to hang out with you all would be the cherry on top of their patience"
"but they seemed okay with it when we came" chan says.
"that's what they do with all of my friends. they'll act nice at first, they'll get to know you and your backstory, your wealth to be exact and then they'll come up with some idiotic excuse for them to stay away from me" minho looks down and it's silence between them.
"come on! let's not be quiet now!" jeongin breaks the silence.
"he's right, we're all usually different" seungmin says.
"yeah you're all chaotic" minho says.
"you can be too! sending pictures about everything instead of using words!" jisung says and minho chuckles.
"omg! did the lee minho who claims that he doesn't like us laugh!??!!??" hyunjin says.
"shut up"
"damn so fierce" jisung says.
"come on you like us admit it!" felix says.
"I won't admit something that isn't true" minho crosses his arms.
"then why did you invite us here then!? ooooo!!" jisung says.
"aish!" minho gets up but when he does, he accidentally trips, and, he falls on jisung.
"ooooooo" hyunjin, changbin, seungmin, and jeongin let out.
the two of them look are staring into each other's eyes, both of them not moving while their hearts beat a mile a minute.
