Yesterday afternoon, I was standing in Manalo Stadium with a boy a few years younger then I in shock. He lost to a trainer who only has a single Pokémon. The ref and boy insisted a One on One, but the battle would of been over too soon if I accepted. I had to remind them who I was: the 15 year old trainer who's beaten two different Champions and could of been the Champion of Two Regions, like the Dragon Master named Lance.

I had to do my best not to sound cocky, because I honestly just wanted the boy to give it his all. I personally requested for the other side to use however many Pokémon they had as well, which turned out to be four. Noticing he was mainly a dark-type trainer and having seen three of the four Pokémon, I had a feeling what his fourth was. Thanks to my years of experience, I was right on the money.

One by one, his Pokémon went down. The battle wasn't easy, but my partner is really agile with pin-point accuracy. She can evade almost any attack, alongside make contact with almost every move. Although she can't pack a punch, her defense is also off the charts! With a wide variety of moves, alongside her ability, we can counter almost any situation.

Once I won the match, he congratulated me and we shook hands. Alongside this, we promised each other to a rematch one day.

Yesterday evening, I was confronted by the man who has given me a place to stay while I took on the island challenge: Professor Kukui. He asked me if I had any intention of actually representing Alola as their First Official Champion. I responded with an agreement that, at first, made him uneasy: The Masked Royal had to reveal himself to the public right before the battle and he had to fight with all his might, not just his star Pokémon. If I won, I wouldn't mind being Champion in name. I did want to continue my travels, though.

Yes, I knew the mans secret the moment I saw one of his pre-recorded matches on TV. I just decided to stay quiet, because I could tell he liked his two-face life. It's not like it was doing anyone any harm. I wouldn't of requested this of the man if he didn't request the one thing I would of refused out right if this was any region, but Alola. I'm actually very fond of this region.

Unlike Kalos and Hoenn, no true evil team resided on its territory. Sure, Team Skull existed, but they were mostly a bunch of teens who've been pushed around and had no where to turn to. They never actually taken Pokémon from other trainers or plotted to destroy the world. Sure, Faba stole the Pokémon that was entrusted to me by Melemele Island's deity, but his overall goal would of effected, at most, a few people if it was a success. Sure, that lead to many Ultra Beasts arriving onto our land, but they posed no problem in the face of someone who values all life. Sure, Lusamine attempted to create a squad that would take care of these beasts with the students from Professor Kukui's class, but I handled each and every one with care.

The man, knowing my history, agreed to my conditions.

This morning, the Masked Royal revealed himself to the world, then claimed this to be a Six on One battle, by the challengers request. Kukui could swap Pokémon whenever. The crowd thought I had no chance.

An hour ago, in the afternoon and a few hours after the match began, Tapu Koko swooped in and became the Professor's final Pokémon. My Pokémon had the disadvantage with overall typing, but it meant nothing, as long as she had her ability. Although she was already tired from fighting five other Pokémon, we both knew she could pull though if we used our trump card.

We only have used it a few times in our life: fighting evil teams and taking care of legionaries. Only once has our ability been seen by the public eye, which was during the Kalos Crisis. It was at that moment when we found out about the existence of our trump card, which was a Double-Edge Sword. Lucky for us, all footage of this ability was quickly taken off the internet and most people forgot about it.

In the past, this was known as the Battle Bond. In legend, this particular Pokémon would change form and become one with its trainer, gaining a sort of Mega Evolution-like Power boast. Mine was a bit different, as there was no physical transformation. The only indication I was using it would be when a part of my body would flinch when my partner was attacked.

Professor Kukui and Tapu Koko used a Powerful Z-Move, which would of defeated my Pokémon if I didn't activate our trump card. Barely standing, I called the final move: Poison Jab. With a quick barrage of super effective punches, the legendary was down and I was crowned Champion in a third region.

Five seconds ago, as the league was still airing world-wide, Professor Kukui announced I had something to tell the world. At this moment, I stand with a mic in my hand and my partner and best friend by my side.

"Hello everyone in the crowd and tuning in from either a TV or streaming service. As you now, I'm Yuki Kazeko. As of this moment, I have officially beaten my third leauge!" I could hear the crowd go wild. "Now, I bet you are wondering how the Champion situation will be settled in a region that actually doesn't have a champion."

The crowd went quiet, this catching their attention. I may be a very well known trainer, but I'm also known for declining the titles.

"I already had a chat with the man in charge of the league about this and we have come to an agreement."

Suspense filled the air. I can physically feel the emotions radiating from everyone. Having enough of teasing the audience, I finish my speech.

"I have decided to continue traveling the world like I have been."

There was a mix of responses from the distance. Many were disappointed and barely anyone was surprised.

"Although, that doesn't mean I won't come back next year to challenge the lucky person who wants to take my title away~"

There was sudden silence. There was no sound at all. Then there were roars of happiness and excitement. The crowd knew what this meant. The viewers knew what this meant. Every Pokémon League fan knew what this meant.Me and my partner both held up the trophy we earned as a team. "That's right, everyone. Yuki Kazeko and her Shiny Ninja Frog partner, Ninja, have accepted the title of Alola's First Champion!"
