I woke up and stretched out my legs and arms.

Dressing myself and tying my Kimono in the back.

The maids taught me when I was younger in case none of them could make it up those stairs in time for school. It makes as much sense back then as it does now. Personally I think they didn't want to tie it. I'm not complaining, I like doing things for myself. I can also make it as slack or as tight as I want so I don't pop like a pimple.

I slipped on my sandals and hopped down the stairs. I always enjoyed jumping down stairs. It was a hell of a lot easier than climbing up them.

I took the key off my dresser and chained it on my neck.

I wonder what it's to.

I told myself last night I'd go through my fathers room and study so I think that should be number one on my list of things to do today. Next, I go and visit The Raiden Shogun.

I need to assure my clan won't be shot out of the sky by the Kujou Clan.

How ironic it would be. If I am remembering correctly me and her met once or twice when I was younger. I met a lot of people when I was younger.

Ayaka Kamisato was one of them. We were very close but that was so long ago, she probably doesn't remember me. All I could hold on to is the past. But now since the Fatui seem rather interested in me becoming the Heir of the L/n clan I suppose I should leave this island as soon as possible.

Maybe I could go to the Kamisato's. I don't think that's likely though.

I finally made it to my fathers room. It was unlocked.

Huh..

When I was little it was always locked.

The door creaked open as I stepped into the room.
The floors were squeaky.

His office looked nothing but immaculate. There were many things and books upon his shelves that surrounded his room. The bed had a dark blue and gold pattern. I've never seen one like it before. I inspected it with interest.

Liyue embroidery. He's been to Liyue? He's never told me that in any of his letters.

I tore my attention away from the blanket and looked up at the walls.

Multi colored starfish hung from a chandelier above his bed. They danced and shimmered when I turned the lights on.

Bottles, books and papers were scattered around on the shelves. Some bottles contained spices others held pretty rocks and plants.

I looked over to his study. The door was also open.

I took a step inside and was blown away at the sight.

Glass tanks lined the room, a round table sat in the middle as a sort of work area.

I looked around at the tanks.

Slimes, hillichurls and crystal flys were sitting in tanks.

It's like a field day.

I pressed my face up to the glass like an excited little kid.
I've never seen anything like these before. I read plenty of books about them but I never expected to see one until I was old enough to leave the islands.

We didn't have many slimes or Hillichurls in Inazuma but when we did they were killed almost immediately.

I would love to study these.

I looked towards the workspace. It seems that's what my Dad was doing.  I picked up his notes and read them.

It basically was all the experiments he's been conducting. I decided to snoop through the older ones.
