Paris

I woke up this morning sore as a motherfucker. Crawling out of bed I made my way to the bathroom. Dammmnnn before searching my body for any marks the first thing I noticed was the hickies all over my neck chest and shoulders. I turned my body around keeping my head towards the mirror. You should have seen all these damn scratches on my back. I chuckled and got in the shower. No lie the shit burned a lil at first but after a couple of seconds it felt like your average shower.
After about thirty minutes later I walked out the hot shower and into my room. Seeing Tee nowhere in sight, I shrugged thinking she went home since her mom was prolly tripping.

Nothing could compare to what I felt after last night. One thing I really wanted to do for Paris and also myself, was to come out and I feel like today is the right time to tell at least my mom.
Who was in the office downstairs handling papers probably concerning work related shit. "Ma... I need to talk to you about something important." My voice nearly trembled in nervousness. "Yeah, what is it." she stopped fondling the papers and pointed to a chair so that I could sit down. Sitting down I got straight to busines, "You know that girl I was talking about the other day?" My mother nodded, "Paris...The twins won't stop talking about her." I smirked but it quickly faded when I remembered the serious situation I was in. "Well, she's my girlfriend...and I love her." my mothers whole disposition changed practically throwing down the pen in her hands. "So, Paris is you're lover!? How dare you?!" Tears almost rose in my eyes, but I forced them back knowing I had to take some sort of stand for what I felt was right. "Yes, ma I'm in love with her." still trying to give her the respect I was always told to give her. "You're telling me you're a woman who is IN LOVE with another woman!? It's disgusting!" Slightly scoffing I began "No it's not ma, it's love like every and anybody else..." My judgmental mother shook her head in disgust. "You really love her....really?" I nodded then she continued. "Well, that's good...Just like you stood up to me, you do the same to ANYBODY who questions you..Give me a hug." I felt like the world was lifted from my shoulders, nothing could possibly describe the feeling of freedom I instantly had. The tears I'd been holding back transforming from tears of anger to those of happiness. I held my mother overwhelmed with how happy I was. "Invite her over for dinner, I want to meet her--see if she right for you."
