Yusei's Love Life... (Based off the Short Story I made)

Chapter 2: Intoxication and heartbreak...

I watched all the episodes individually to get the info accurate for this chapter, It won't be until later chapters that everything is all original, with no spoilers. These first few chapters will all have spoilers until further notice. Anyways, enjoy the chapter!!!

This feeling... I couldn't get enough of it. After that first hit, it was like a drug to me... I was addicted from the start. Me and Kalin continued to grow closer and closer, but I was so blinded by this feeling that I didn't see what I was doing to my closest friends... or what was happening around me.

We were on the final district we had to conquer, District M. Things were going as smooth as they could until I ran into the leader, I was able to throw my clip towards him and snag his duel disk. (It's the easiest way that I could describe it ^ ^") but he had other plans. The leader showed a dark smirk, "I don't have to duel you..." he said in a dark tone, "This little contraption you used to try and keep me here will be your downfall..." he then quickly ran towards the edge of the building, jumping over to the other building, but I was now being pulled against the railing as he continued to try and pull me over. Eventually, I couldn't hold on anymore and I was pulled over the railing, and as I was he took off his duel disk and threw it over, "I won't be seeing you around kid." He smirked as he watched me fall. I screamed as I started to plummet towards the concrete stories below, I barely heard Jack and Crow over myself shouting my name as I fell, but then something latched onto my hand and I felt a strong jerk upwards. My arm hurt like all hell from this but I realized I wasn't falling anymore, but instead was dangling from my arm. I look up at Kiryu and saw that he had thrown his clip and got my arm, but the railing was giving away from both of our weight, "Kiryu! Let go! We'll both be dragged down at this ra-" "No Yusei! I made a promise when we started this, and I will not forsake you or that promise! I can't lose you!"Kiryu said before I could finish my sentence. I felt like I would tear up a bit, I didn't want it to end like this or to drag him down with me. Finally, Crow made it up and started to help pull me up, I could feel my heart racing and my body shaking from everything that just happened, and as soon as I was up I clung to the first thing I could grab onto, which happened to be Kiryu. I felt him pull me close, and start whispering things like, "You're okay..." or "I got you..." I felt Crow wrap his arms around me too. I just stayed close as I tried to calm down. Jack had caught the leader and tied him up before he could escape, once he was sure he was not going anywhere he can over and joined the pile.

I was very lucky that day...

That night, we went back to our HQ. Though we celebrated finally liberating satellite, Jack, Crow, and especially Kiryu were being overprotective of me at the moment, and always watching me. My wrist had some bruising and a shallow cut from the clip earlier, but it was better than being dead. I still remained pretty close to Kiryu most of the night, Jack and Crow had known for a while about us being a thing, Jack still didn't seem to like it and was acting like an overprotective big brother half the time when it came to it, but that night I just didn't want to let go. I was still pretty shaken up about everything and just wanted to hold on. I didn't even realize what was happening around me at the time because I was so focused on the feeling of being loved like I was.

That night things started to move forward a bit more, we weren't just kissing, it was more than that. I've never felt like that before or done anything like that. I wasn't going all the way, but it was still more than before. Touching each other like that... I didn't want to forget that feeling. I didn't realize though how Kalin was changing, it was more than just uniting satellite, making it a place we wanted to live in... it turned into so much more... so much that it was too far. We were all burnt out though, and looking for what to do next, but Kalin seemed to grow restless, not seeming to want to admit that the party was over. He was always on the street, looking for any possible person he could call an enemy. Eventually, he got in a fight with someone from team insect, even after he beat him in a duel he continued to go after him... Crow had to separate them, then I and Jack had to separate them from a fight as well.

"Hurry up and go!" Crow shouted to the duelist, as he held Kalin down as long as he could before taking a punch to the stomach from Kalin, after that Jack had pulled Kalin away while I held back Crow, "Stop it you two!" I shouted, once Crow had calmed down I let go of him. "Dueling is supposed to be fun! Against anyone, anytime, anywhere!" Crow shouted, "Do we really have the right to take that away!" Kalin only looked to Crow, kind of puzzled, "What?" Crow huffed and turned around, "I'm leaving the team..." he said, walking back down the alley he came from. Yusei watched one of his best friends walk away, "C-Crow..." Kalin growled a bit and looked to where Crow was walking, "But we're supposed to be a team!" he shouted, but Crow didn't turn around, "Hey Crow! I thought we we're supposed to be friends!" Jack was the next to leave, "Jack? Hey Jack! Crow!" Kalin continued to shout, it was then he looked to me, "Yusei, you're still with me right? We're still a team, right?" I only gave a slight nod, I couldn't leave now, I was in too deep at this point, I wasn't able to abandon him as easily as they did... because he was my friend... no... he was my lover...

Now that Crow and Jack had left, it was just me and Kalin... we're were what was left of Team Satisfaction... but eventually, rumor spread of these motorcycles called D-Wheels. Not only that though, we saw sector security with them... they started to take down the small duel gangs we were originally dealing with. It was about then, that I realized that I was losing Kalin. This wasn't the Kalin I knew... the Kalin I loved... and his crazy plan was starting to surface...

"What?! Takedown security?!" I said in shock. "Yes... I finally found Team Satisfaction's final opponent," Kalin said in a tone I hadn't heard before... It was bone-chilling. "F-Final opponent?" I said, kind of confused. "Yes... if we take down security, all of satellite will be ours to rule..." Kalin had an evil smirk on his face, "Yusei... bring back Crow and Jack, this will be team satisfaction's final duel... The four of us will crush them!" I slammed my hands down on the table, "Kalin! Don't you realize this is a suicide mission?! This is madness!!!" (Madness?... THIS. IS. SPARTA!!! Sorry not sorry.) Kalin smirked, "Are you scared, Babe?" I was a bit taken aback, he hadn't called me by this nickname before, but I didn't want it to be done like this... I snapped out of it and grabbed his shoulder, "Kalin!-" I have no clue what happened to Kalin... what this darkness was growing in him, but I wasn't gonna follow him into this mission, "Kalin... I can't stay with you any longer... we're through... If you're going to do this... you're on your own..." I looked down as I spoke, "I'm leaving this team... I'm leaving you..." I turned around and started to walk out. I heard him call to me, begging me to come back... but I just left... hopefully now that he's on his own, he will realize that going after security was stupid and reckless...

But I was wrong... oh so wrong...
