I remember, walking out of the fold, alive. It was something considered impossible, but not for me. I was the one who had created it, of course, I could control everything within it.
I knew I had to keep my identity secret. I don't want Alina to know I'm still alive. So I got rid of my kefta and fixed my hair as much as I could. I had somehow deceived some otkazatsya' and now I was in a cheap hotel.
I wondered if Alina and her tracker were doing any better. Just thinking about Alina with her tracker left me in a bad mood. I wondered why she chose him over me. I know, she probably despises me by now, but still, I wonder if it could indeed have been different for us.
I realized what I was thinking and mentally slapped myself for feeling so vulnerable. I can't have anything with Alina, she knows too much and therefore I must kill her.
But for now, she's safe from me, as I do not know of her whereabouts.
I wonder what she has told the world about me, does she still think me the villain of this story?A sudden knock at my door scatters my thoughts, making me jump.
"Mr. Styles, we have your bill if you would like to pay it now."
The voice sounded like that of a woman.
I thought she had the wrong room but then I remembered, Mr. Styles was the fake name I'd given them. This lead me to another thought, how many people still know who I am?
I realize she is still at the door and I have to answer soon, before she assumes that something is wrong.
Or even worse if she thinks that my silence is suspicious."Yes, what day is it today?"
I received an answer almost instantly.
"It's Thursday, sir. It's been a week since you've been here and that's all you said you needed to stay for."She's right, but I can't believe a week has passed so quickly. Here's the problem, I don't have any money. I guess I'll just have to kill her then, since I need information on Alina's whereabouts and I need to stay longer. I thought up an excuse to make her come in, so I could kill her.
I put on an act of distress, "Oh saints! Would you mind coming inside? The door is open."
I thought for a second that it wouldn't work but apparently she fell for it.
"Um... Sure, but is everything alright?"
"Everything is alright, I just seem to have misplaced my wallet somewhere."As the door opened and they stepped in, I realized it was a man, though he sounded like a woman.
He walked into my darkness filled room and I quietly walled behind him, to close the door, as I do not want any witnesses."Hello? Mr. Styles, have you found your wallet yet?" He asked.
I couldn't help but smirk coldly."No, but I won't be very long." I said, in a low, deep whisper.
The man whipped his head around to look at me, but before he could do anything else, I summoned nichevo'ya and they did all the dirty work. The man didn't have any time to even scream, as the creatures tore him apart, limb by limb.
A moment ago, he was standing before me, alive and well. And now, all that's left of him is blood splattered everywhere, his bones in a corner and his once beating heart in the middle of the room.
I walked over the blood and the bones to the other side of the room, but before I could do anything else, everyone was screaming.
I assume that the blood had seeped through the floorboards and onto the people below.
I didn't have time to think, as three giant-like men barge in through the door and see what has happened.
I make eye contact with them briefly before they start running at me. I send the nichevo'ya forth and the giants stand no chance against my creations.
