Izuku

My day ended similarly to how it usually would have, there were few incidents and none that I had to do paperwork for any of the few that did actually happen.

'Deep breaths, Izuku,' I basically had to whisper to myself as I walked down to the bar to meet Kacchan, I had barely stepped in before seeing the spikes of his hair, he was in a dim light but... damnit he was stunning.

I approached the table and quietly sat down, looking at the floor too scared to make any actual contact with him, I was a coward around Kacchan and .  "Deku." Kacchan muttered as I turned my gaze to him, forcing a smile on my face, "K...Kacchan," I returned.

Third

The two sat in silence for the better half of five minutes before Katsuki finally decided to speak up, "I wanted to talk about yesterday..." Katsuki seemed a lot more stoic than he had seemed since they last spoke. Izuku nodded gently, he had to talk about the thing he really wanted to forget about. Fantastic.

"It never happened, remember." Izuku chimed, crossing his arms over his chest, still refusing to look up to Katsuki. Kat muttered something under his breath before huffing,

"You're acting like we fucked." he deadpanned. "I wanted to tell you that I don't mind if I looked after you for the night. But, don't dare tell Eijiro anything that didn't happen." He warned, Izuku put his hands up defensively, he wouldn't do that and Katsuki knew that, Izuku wouldn't lie to Eijiro. He and Eijiro used to be friends after all.

Maybe telling Katsuki how he felt would change things. Maybe Katsuki was madly in love with him too and would run away with him where they could live happily ever after away from Eijiro and the hero agency and away from anyone who would judge them way too harshly. Izuku always had that stupid little thought in his head and he was finally going to tell Katsuki how he felt and he no longer cared if Katsuki rejected him. Maybe a rejection was exactly what he needed.

"Kacchan I..." Izuku started but stopped quickly, should he really be telling Katsuki about this? He sighed softly and shook his head, "You know full well I wouldn't do that. What would I gain by trying to ruin your relationship?" He muttered, looking up at Katsuki for what felt like the first time that evening, his face darkened but he did nothing but roll his eyes.

"I know you like me, Deku." Katsuki groaned, running a hand over his face, staring into Izuku's soul. As much as Izuku wanted to lie and deny what the other had just said, he couldn't muster the courage to lie straight to his face.

"That doesn't mean I'll try to fucking ruin your relationship Kacchan, gods." Izuku retorted, his look seemed to soften but he didn't say anything else. "So what if I've liked you- no, been in love with you for as long as I can remember? I know you'll never feel the same way, and I've come to terms with that." Izuku rolled his eyes, getting up from the chair, he mumbled a goodbye but didn't wait for Katsuki to respond before leaving, he had already embarrassed himself so much just by finally telling Katsuki how he felt.

He was relieved when Katsuki didn't follow after him, facing him would have been worse than what he had just told him. Once he reached the street of his apartment he let whatever he was feeling out, once he eventually reached his apartment, he hadn't even turned the lights on before tucking his head between his knees as he sat on the floor of his bedroom, "Gods, Izuku, you idiot, you don't casually confess your love for Katsuki Bakugo like that." He muttered to himself while running a hand over his face, wiping away tears that had streamed down his face.

Izuku sat in the dark, in silence for a little before his phone had beeped '_one new message from: Katsuki ' the notification read, Izuku ignored it and got up from his musty floor, turning his lights on silently and walking through to his bedroom, dropping down on the bed without bothering to take his shoes off, his mother would have killed him had she seen.

Inko wouldn't have actually killed him though, she'd be far more worried about the state Izuku was in.

Heavens know how long Izuku lay on his bed sprawled out like a starfish but, eventually, he must've dozed off because he woke up to the sound of loud banging on his door and the yelling of one very angry sounding

Katsuki Bakugo.

Not in the mood to deal with Katsuki twice in one day, he ignored the knocking, going so far as to cover his ears with his hands to try to block out the noise the blonde was making. How had Katsuki even found where he lived, this wasn't public knowledge, he had never told Katsuki where he lived either- unless he accidentally had when he was drunk.

'Izuku you dumbass' He mumbled to himself before peeling himself off his bed and trudging toward the door, sighing loudly before opening it slightly, a look of annoyance had been etched into Katsukis face by the time the door had fully opened, the look seemed to have softened when he finally laid his eyes on Izuku's.

The blonde almost pushed poor Izuku over trying to get into his house, looking around discreetly while muttering how much of a dump the other lived in, Izuku couldn't help but agree, he lived in a bad spot of town as well as his house just being an utter fucking mess. He couldn't do anything about it at that moment so Katsuki commenting only annoyed him to no end.

"What do you-"
"Did you mean what you said at the bar, Izuku?" Katsuki asked before Izuku could finish his question.

Oh, he wanted to continue talking about this then?
