Nathan's POV:
"Mom?"
"Nathan," she said. "are you alright?"
I sat up. "Yeah. I'm okay."
I could see her body relax.
"What are you doing here? How did you do that?"
She showed me her bracelet, and I immediately understood. She grabbed my hand and pulled me up. "Someday, you will be able to do that."
I scoffed. "Hopefully."
I turned away from her, only seeing a destroyed mall. Walls were broken, clothes shredded in every single store, and even a whole staircase was crushed into a million pieces. It looked awful.
I also saw Roxie, laying on the floor. She wasn't getting up.
I ran towards her, my mom close on my heel.
When we got there, I kneeled down beside her.
"She will be alright?" said a voice behind me.
I slightly turned my head. I see another middle aged woman, about as old as my mom, with her arm around Heather.
I turned my focused back on Roxie.
Roxie's POV:
I woke up, feeling a sharp pain in my ribs. When I tried to sit up, I felt a hand on my shoulder.
"Don't. Just lie down."
It was Nathan. "Nathan?" I said, opening my eyes. I have never been so happy to see him.
He smiled at me, then turned away. "Mom!" he yelled. "She's awake!" Immediately a woman ran into the room, carrying a small, wet cloth. She handed Nathan the cloth, and he put it on my forehead.
I put my hand on it as he pulled his away.
"Thank you," I said. "What happened?"
Nathan's POV:
I told her everything: the monster, the mall, Heather's mom, my mom. It took a little bit, but she nodded, saying that she understood.
"How did I get here?" she asked.
"Nathan brought you here, sweetie." My mom had to embarrass me.
Before I could scold my mother, Roxie said, "Thank you."
"You're welcome."
