Recently watched the US/Japan series & loved the story, art, and animation. Seemed familiar, and the season/series finale left me hanging though.
It's not a campy nostalgia-fest; gets pretty involved & intense. Rare that I do anthropomorphic art (though I've done a lot of platypuses for work).
Even staying close to reference, these designs are quite detailed & took a while. Almost settled on just one or two, but knew I couldn't do the whole cast. Hope you enjoy. Rights to WB.
